Eid means happiness Eid means joy. Eid is a day of joy for Muslims. Our Muslims have two major festivals in a year. One is Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid-ul-Azha. Today Monday 17/06/2024 Eid-ul-Azha is held.
Since when the practice of Qurbani started:
In the Holy Qur'an, Allah decided to test Prophet Ibrahim's love for Allah. Allah said to Abraham in a dream - Sacrifice to me your most beloved thing. After seeing such dreams, he started thinking about what could be his favorite thing! His dearest thing was his son Ishmael [According to the Bible, Abraham's other son Isaac (son of Sarah) was chosen for sacrifice.] because he received him in his old age by God's grace. As a result, Ibrahim decided to sacrifice his son Ishmael in the name of Allah. After the sacrifice, it was found that a dumba (literally goat) had been sacrificed in Ismail's place. After this, the followers of Ibrahim started offering animal sacrifices on that day of the lunar month to gain God's pleasure in commemoration of this event.
Today, I woke up early in the morning, brushed my teeth, and did some housework with my father. After finishing the work, take a bath. Today my mother cooks many things like noodles, semai, and bread. Finished breakfast. He goes to the Eidgah to pray the Eid prayer.
A cow is sacrificed after the prayer. I work here for a long time. After cutting the beef, we brought the meat home. While cutting the beef, blood stains the clothes and the body gets dirty. I came home and took a bath again.
At noon mom cooked meat. After having lunch, I went out for a walk. In the afternoon I wandered around with my friends and talked to my relatives on the phone to find out about them. I called and invited all my cousins, aunts, uncles, and aunts. A friend of mine will be moving to Saudi Arabia. I searched for all his family members. I asked him to travel well when he went abroad.
