Assalamu Alaikum friends, I wish you all good health. Hope you all are well. So on a very cold morning, I woke up and went to the mosque and offered the Fajr prayer. Then came home and spent some time on Steemit and had breakfast. Then I walked outside where a cow was grazing in the cool morning weather. I captured that moment.

After a little further, I noticed that the transmitter set on the main electric pole in our area has grown a lot of weeds. Power poles, especially power supply lines, are usually for residential and commercial use. It usually has a voltage of 220V to 240V (AC). There are main lines for transmission and distribution of electricity.

But they can have thousands of voltages. Like we had 11kV. However, the transmitter or tension meter on that pole has a lot of weeds. They came from other trees. Basically, if water collects on the top of the poles or between the insulators, electricity can be easily conducted through it.

This can cause sparking from line to pole. Also, if the pole insulators are damaged or not working properly, the electric current can come into direct contact with the pole and stop the fun.

I think weeding on electric poles can be very dangerous because there are so many risks involved. Direct contact with or near the electrical leakage from the pole leads to a risk of electric shock that can cause serious injury or death.

• Fire Hazard: Sparks or sparks from pole weed can ignite surrounding objects, which can cause major fires.

• Disruption in power supply: Weeded lines or loose poles can cause power supply problems. This disrupts uninterrupted power supply and many people may be affected.

Then I also noticed that the electric pole was also expired. It is a wooden pole so it is unusable. When the wooden poles get old and damaged, it becomes weak and prone to collapse at any time which can cause power interruption.

Falling poles can cause downed power lines which can be dangerous to human life and property. Mainly due to linemen swinging through this pole, it is eroded. Look at the pictures above how it is ruined with many holes. So there are three big transformers on this pole.

So this tension meter is mainly used to measure the tension or tension level in the electric pole. So there was a big irrigation pump next to it and I saw many fuses next to it. Large irrigation pump motor lines use fuses that are of high capacity and compatible with the performance of the motor.

Cartridge fuse or HRC (High Rupturing Capacity) fuse is used for this type of motor. These fuses are capable of handling high voltage and high current which ensures the protection of the motor and protects the motor and circuit by cutting off the current during short circuit or overload.

Three-phase power supply is used in this irrigation pump which is rated at 400 volts or 415 volts. This type of voltage supply is ideal for running high capacity pumps as it ensures sufficient power and efficiency for the motor. Switchgear setup of this type of irrigation pump is very important as it helps in protecting the motor and other electrical equipment.

There were large boards of entry switches, circuit breakers, overload relays, fuses, voltage stabilizers. But if you look at the pictures it had some parasites nesting on it which I cleaned off. Basically no one could see this inside the irrigation pump, so I did it myself.

It has modern switchgear system. It usually has a digital display which helps to monitor voltage, current, temperature etc. So this pole is very necessary for us. From here the line came to our house. There set the correct meter according to the power demand (watts or kilowatts) of the irrigation pump.

Generally 120V, 220V or 400V (three phase) voltage is used for irrigation pumps. The meter is set to that voltage. The main control board of the power line is connected to the electrical cable of the pump with a meter connection. It has three phase pump 400V output. But the line that goes from the meter to the irrigation pump is in dangerous condition.

There are several important advantages to installing cement poles over wooden poles for electric lines. Cement poles are more durable than wooden poles. It is less likely to be damaged by rust, road accidents, insects or climate change.

Cement poles can last for hundreds of years whereas wooden poles usually have a lifespan of 10-20 years. That's why it's ruined. Corroded or broken wooden poles can cause electrical disconnections that can cause accidents or short circuits. Cement poles are stronger and more stable which increases its safety.

Wooden poles are a fire hazard, but cement poles can withstand heat and are much less of a fire hazard. Cement poles are more resistant to natural disasters such as storms, floods, or lightning than wooden poles. So we called the electricity office and found out that an application has to be made for new electric poles. Now we need the poles on the right side of the picture except the poles on the left side of the picture below.

Then I came home, took a bath, performed ablution and went to the mosque to pray. Although I was sitting with the Lord until the beginning of the prayer. Then after praying on time I came home and had lunch with everyone and rested for a while.

Everyone needs to rest for at least 10 minutes after lunch so that the food in the body can be transferred to the right place. Then in the afternoon I went to the mosque to pray Asr. It was a mild winter, maybe after a few days more winter will come. Then after praying, I walked around for some time. At that time I took a selfie standing under a bel tree.

After spending some time at my cousin's pharmacy, I saw some posts on Steemit. Then in the evening after Maghrib prayer I came home. Meanwhile my phone charge is almost finished so I charged the phone. After that I spent some time on Steemit, had dinner and went to bed. So after finishing all today's work, I fell asleep. Thank God for such a beautiful day.
