Winter Snacks(Andosha pitha)
Today I have come up with a different type of pitha recipe. Many of you may not be familiar with this pitha, but many of you are familiar with it. This pitha is made every year in our house. This pitha is very popular in my in-laws' house.
The ingredients I used to make this pitha are,
1 kushur jaggery
2 atap rice
3 soybean oil
Step 1,
First, I soaked some atap rice in water for about two to three hours.
Step 2,
After two to three hours, I drained the water from the rice.
Step 3,
Blend the drained rice in a blender to make a dough.
Step 4,
Now, heat the jaggery in a frying pan on the stove. Cook the jaggery for a while until it is well mixed.
Step 5,
After mixing the jaggery well for 10-15 minutes, add the flour in the jaggery in small amounts and stir.
Step 6,
Then, without stirring, slowly, when the flour-jaggery mixture is well mixed and thin, turn off the stove and set it aside.
Step 7,
Now I have put a polythene sheet in one place and put some oil on it. After applying the oil, take the dough balls and gently roll them out long and long.
Step 8,
Then heat the oil well in a stove.
Step 9,
When the oil is hot, now slowly take the pithas to be made one by one and drop them into the oil.
Step 10,
Then when the pithas turn brown in color, remove the pithas from the oil with the help of a strainer.
Step 11,
Thus, the Andosa pitha recipe is made. If you decorate a plate beautifully and give it to someone, they will definitely like it. Because this pitha is very fun to eat.
