SEC - S10W2: My favorite cake "vanilla cake"

Cakes are beautiful and delightful, they come in various sizes and flavors and colors. Most importantly, it suits any type of occasion. Not so many people will not like cake.

Which cake do you prefer and why?

Vanilla Cake has to be my best choice 🥰

Vanilla cake has a subtle yet delightful taste, often enhanced with different fillings and toppings. I love this cake for its simplicity and ability to complement other ingredients.

If ordering from outside, which brand of cake do you order? And share how much it costs in your country's money and how much steem you get when converted to steem.

Most times, I order a lot of cakes outside in eateries, and some are mostly baked from trusted chefs. The brand I order depends on the eatery or the person baking it.

If it's a preorder cake I go for quality brands and probably those with reputable names because when it has to do with cakes, I can't settle for less.

Cakes cost depending on the occasion, basically cakes in my country ranges between #5000 to #150000 depending on the size and quality.
Rounding this amount in steem is about 42steem and 1,249steem.

What special occasion do you usually make or order cakes at home?

I ordered cakes for occasions like wedding, I remember when my aunt had her bridal shower, a cake was ordered.

I ordered cakes for marriage anniversaries, like one my siblings and I ordered for my parents last anniversary.

I also ordered cakes during academic celebrations like that of my sister's matriculation ceremony.

I won't fail to mention my own induction ceremony into the pharmacy profession, a cake was also ordered.

During this occasion, cake spices it up and makes merry the situation. Apart from occasion, I could just crave for cakes then walk in to a cake house, place an order and have one for myself.

Infact there was a time my siblings and I tried a recipe, we decided to bake a cake together,it didn't come out perfect, but I know for sure, it tasted really good. We ate and enjoyed to satisfaction.

Why do you think cake is so popular compared to other desserts?

I think cake is versatile, by that I mean it's size, shape and color varies to meet up all occasions and functions.

Cakes are widely used as symbols for important occasion. When shared together, it fosters togetherness, unity and brings sense of Joy.

Cakes can be so physically appealing as it always looks very beautiful with well crafted hands hence bits other desserts.

Cakes generally portrays happy moments and when shared, nothing other than joy can be felt.
