“How I earned money for the first time in my life”

I earned my very own money for the first time when I was about twelve years. When our taps would stop flowing we would have to trek a long, steep way to get water from a stream in the town.
The older people who couldn't go themselves would pay us to get their water. I don't remember where the money went exactly but I remember being overjoyed.
