Achievement 6 Task by @adeboye100 : Understanding Curation and Community

Hello Steemains,

It's a beautiful day for me today, to be able to continue with the writing of my achievements on steemit because, I have been offline especially from Steemit due to some circumstances. But today, am so happy to be back on the platform. I want to welcome and also appreciate each and everyone that will be viewing my post. This is my 6th achievement which is all about Understanding Curation and Community with the help of @cryptokannon.

My task for this achievement is to make a post based on the below questions.

How Voting and Curation work on Steemit

Voting and curation are one of the factors that is very beneficial to ssteemit users. Voting influences Curation reward. Curation is earned when you vote the good content. Voting and curration are together because voting bring about curration. Is like the way we like, and comment on social media such as Twitter, Facebook and other. But steemit is a decentralized platform that rewards it user's allowing their post to be voted for in order to get curation rewards.

In steemit we have two types of votes under and post reward Option, which are upvotes and downvote. For upvote, If a post is been upvoted for, it show that the currator who is the voter see the post as a good one but if currator downvote any post that means he doesn't see it as a good post. Below is an example of where curator curate post on steemit.

Any user's vote can not be valuable unless the curator which can also be called user as voting strength. That is why we have a role to play by voting in a good post because you cannot upvoted every post as it affects your voting Mana which can also be called voting strength. Every 100% strength votes you cast will deduct 2% 0f your voting strength. But your voting Mana will recharge by 20%each day. You can vote more than ten times in a day but I would say ten times is enough because on your every vote, your votes will carry less influence. You can make use of this third party tool such as steemscan and steemdb.io to check your voting Mana.

As a new user, i can only upvote and downvote with 100% voting strength. But once the Steem power in my wallet is up to 500sp, I will see a vote slider appear when i vote, which will allow me to adjust the weight of my votes, between 1% and 100% voting strength. User, voting with less than 100% voting strength will consume less Mana but has less influence on the post or comment award.

Voting and Curation is a simple task but the more Steem Power you have, the more rewards you can distribute from the reward pool.

What happened if you vote a post before 5 minutes marks after posting?

I will be explaning how the 50% received by the curator is been splited during the first 5 minutes in a tabular form. Also know that, it's calculated linearly bases on the time the votes is casted.

Who will you vote for Steem Witness ? and Why?

Steem witness, Steem Blockchain requires a set of people to create blocks and consensus mechanism called DPOS i.e. Delegated Proof of Stake and anyone who is willing to contribute to the Blockchain may be selected by the community as a witness. So, the people that are delegated to create blocks are referred to as witnesses.

However, With some knowledge I now have about Steemit plaform, I would like to vote for @steemchiller, @justyy and @cryptokannon. @Steemchiller and @justyy who is the developer of SteemWorld.org and steemscan.com. Because these steem tools are in use of my daily steem blogging. And @cryptokannon who as being of help in some of my achievement by putting together different things about Steemit, for newcomer's on the platform to acquire from.

Which community will you join in Steemit, and why?

In Steemit, there are several community users can join. I have join some commumity before this class and I also check some commumity as mentioned by @cryptokanno, in which member post a very good content. I will be explaining the community I would like to join and why I would like to join them in Steemit.

Community	Reasons for joining
Steem Africa	Am a Nigerian, as Nigeria is an Africa country, I would like to know more about Africa as a whole.
Steem Music	I love music but I would like to watch other's creativity in music.
Arts	I love Art works. Though, am not really good in drawing but I would like to see more of Art works and I would like to improve my drawing.
Steeming Curators	I would like to participate in several content.
Project Hope	I would like to know more about Cryptocurrency, Business and marketing.
