When someone uses the work of another person without referencing the sources or giving credit to
Someone’s work then that’s an offense of plagiarism.
Plagiarism can also simple Mean an intellectual theft, it is reckless or unintentional, intentional careless plagiarism can be a disciplinary Offense and is punishable.
The different types of plagiarism are all serious violations of academic honesty.
1 Direct plagiarism
Direct plagiarism is a deliberate word to word content writing of someone eles work without quotation marks.
The deliberate plagiarism of someone work is a dishonest in academic and attracts disciplinary majors
2 Self plagiarism
This the situation where a student submits his or her own previous work or mixes parts of the work of another person without permission from professors involved.
Self plagiarism also applies to duplicating some pieces of assignments in different forms or classes without permission.
3 Mosaic plagiarism
This occurs when a person borrows words or phrases from another source without using quotation marks.
This is a serious offence, it is also known as a patch work plagiarism and it’s a dishonest intention.
4 Accidental plagiarism
This may occur either by mistake or unintentional paragraphrasing, either intended or unintended plagiarism had it’s consequences.
Student often commit accidental plagiarism when they neglects to cite, misquotes their sources of information.
Words - If you copy words of an author.
Audio - If you copy the recording of a producer
Image – If you download or copy image of someone.
Video - If you reshot a video of someone.
1 In academic plagiarism is considered to be taken seriously, and its affects persons involved reducing their grades.
2 It destroys someone’s reputation by been found guilty of plagiarism someone can easily loss his value respect from the public.
There are various plagiarism tools both online and offline which can be used scan or check possible copyright of his or her work giving you an accurate result.
In Conclusion
Plagiarism doesn’t show ones genuine ideas as it depredates your point of reasoning because with constant plagiarism one wont know abilities
So I pledge to step aside from any form of plagiarism.
