Ahoy Steemians and sailing friends
Hello Steemian community, we are new here and would like to introduce ourselves and greet everyone. So we are Joanna and Andy, a German Swiss couple on the cruise with 2 dogs and a cat. The five of us live on an old sail catamaran and are sailing for a smile. If you are interested, you can read more about it in our vlog. But for now we just want to wish everyone a wonderful day and let you know that we are happy to be here with you.

We had overlooked the list with achievements for newcomers. Sorry so late, but now we are happy to make up for that. Here is the verification photo and some more details about the 5 of us. The picture however shows only Joanna and me because we don't believe that Basco, Marley or Tulu are running the account.
Joanna and I are both 42 and it is not so easy to tell where we reside. That changes constantly since we have been living on a old sailing catamaran for many years and travel around the world. We work together with various human aid organizations and provide disaster relief after hurricane impacts on remote islands in the Caribbean. This is just what we do, but on a voluntary basis and we are not paid for it. We don't need much money and the little we earn is mainly with writings, social media and crypto swing trading - sort of digital nomades. Sometimes a boat delivery and we teach different skills every now and then. Basically we are humble sailors and do not chase after big dollars.
We love our freedom and don't like it when someone tries to control us. Unfortunately, most governments today do just that and there is little chance of escaping. We have achieved a large part to get back our freedom by not having a permanent residence and therefore no address. Now we are working on our financial freedom and have long since said goodbye to traditional banks. We don't have much, but we have everything in crypto and therefore the sole control and it is available in seconds if needed. Nobody can freeze our assets anymore. This happened to us several times because as travelers we have international money transfers with small amounts all the time. They were afraid of money laundering and took the right to shut us down every single time until it was clear that it was another false suspicion. We are adults, we know how to behave and we don't need a corrupt government telling us what we are allowed to do. That is why we are big fans of decentralization and crypto-currencies.
We are used to create videos of our travels and share them with a short anecdote on social media as a memorie for us and also to earn a couple bucks. We didn't like the censorship and unfair monetization on Youtube, Facebook and Instagram and we were looking for a decentralized solution with a fair rating system. Fortunately, Steemit offers just that and so we can tell our story in a whole new way. I don't know exactly who my mentor is. @kuttmoped gave me the idea, @chriddi @janasilver @indextrader24 and now @cryptokannon helped me immediately and gave me valuable tips. I think everyone here is super helpful and nice. We hope to meet many like-minded people here and would like to ad some sea salt to steemit.

Hoppla... Na ohne die Anfängerfehler wäre es ja auch nix Gescheites. Danke für den Hinweis jetzt ist es nicht mehr ganz so peinlich. Wir finden uns schon noch zurecht und sind dankbar für jeden Tip. Dabei ist es ja an sich grad so erfrischend einfach.

Ihr braucht halt erstmal ein kleines Netzwerk, Leute müssen auf euch aufmerksam werden. Am Anfang leider unerfrischend schwierig... ;-)
Fragen werden definitiv noch auftauchen. Gerne könnt ihr euch an mich wenden. Wenn ich nicht selbst eine Antwort auf Lager habe, kenne ich als "alter Hase" viele, an die ich ggf. verweisen kann.
Vielen lieben Dank dafür. Da kommen wir gerne darauf zurück. Der Anfang ist immer etwas holperig und wir wissen Starthilfe sehr zu schätzen.
chriddi, dank Dir für die delegation. Der Anfang auf Steemit kann echt deprimierend schwer sein. Seit wir die beiden vor ca. 5 Monaten auf Dominika getroffen haben verfolgen wir auch ihren Blog und YT.
Da ich mit Andy mal bei nem Bier über Crypto und Blockchain philosophiert habe, war natürlich auch Steem gefallen. Ich denk mal deshalb ist Andy und Johanna auch hier gelandet.
Nachdem ihr erster Beitrag nach 3 Tagen 0 Upvotes hatte, hab ich mir gedacht ... Da muß ich mal pushen, hab den Beitrag resteemed und im GSB und DACH darauf hingewiesen. Das werde ich aber jetzt nicht jedes mal tun. Kleine Startspritze ist OK, aber der Content sollte im Vordergrund stehen ;)
Gerne. Jeder (vielversprechende) neue User muss gehalten werden - aber dazu kennst du ja meine Einstellung... ;-)
Es waren einfach nicht die richtigen Tags eingesetzt. Wenn überhaupt noch nach links und rechts geguckt wird, orientieren die meisten sich an Communities und Tags oder aber ihren Feed. Wenn du noch keine Follower hast, bist du halt in keinem Feed.
Ich habe den Beitrag auch erst durch dein Resteem entdeckt. Das habe ich dir nachgemacht (diesen ja auch), ich habe eine relativ große Reichweite. Und siehe da - es ist zwar noch immer eher kümmerlich, aber ich kann an den Votes durchaus sehen, wer durch die Resteems aufmerksam geworden ist.
Glaub mir, das wünscht sich vermutlich seit drei Jahren niemand so sehr wie ich... ;-)
Wenn überhaupt, ist das nur durch Vorbildfunktion zu erreichen, nicht von gierigen Rewardjägern.

@chriddi meint richtigerweise bei euren Beiträgen auch den Resteembutton zu verwenden
Wenn Euch bestimmte Beiträge besonders gut und gehaltvoll erscheinen dann könnt ihr durch Resteem solche Beiträger in eurem Blog weiterverbreiten.
Ist ein Resteem erfolgt, kann er aber nicht mehr rückgängig gemacht werden.
Es ist jedem selbst überlassen, ob er fremde Beiträge in seinem Blog haben möchte oder nicht.

Super den Haken haben wir gefunden und gleich mal ausprobiert. Ähnlich dem Retweet auf Twitter oder? Wenn nun jemand den Beitrag bearbeitet den ich resteemt (heisst das so?) habe, ... also ganz was anderes schreibt als das was ich eigentlich toll fand, wird dann die neue Version in dem resteem auf meinem Blog angezeigt oder bleibt da das original?
Grundsätzlich kann jemand einen Beitrag nach dem er ihn geschrieben hat editieren und verändern.
Der Originalbeitrag ist aber in der Blockchain verewigt und abrufbar.
In aller Regel werden die Beiträge ex post im Grunde nie editiert.
Richtig ist dass der Resteem ähnlich wie Twittern ist, nur mit dem Unterschied dass du den gesteemten / oder gehivten Beitrag nicht mehr deleten kannst.
Ach ja und noch was, was sehr wichtig ist:
Verliere niemals die Keys!
Vergesse niemals Regel Nummer 1
Active Key und Master Key gehören niemals in die Hände von Dritten. Der Master Key ist euer Rettungsboot, wenn der futsch ist könnt ihr im Falle eines gehackten Accounts euren Account nicht mehr an Euch reissen.
Der Masterkey ist der wichtigste von allen Keys - und gehört wie alle Keys extern gesichert - auf Papier oder auf Holz oder was auch immer, so dass niemand an ihn ran kommt.
Zum Posten immer nur den Posting Key verwenden.
Also Keys sichern und auf Papier Stahl Holz oder was auch immer Salzwasserfest verewigen, so dass er nicht auf den Grund des Ozeans sinken kann. Von mir aus auch in einer Schatzkiste in einer Höhle in der Karibik einbuddeln und bei Bedarf dann rausholen, nachdem ihr eine Schatzkarte gezeichnet habt... ;o)
Das klingt vielleicht sehr abgebogen, aber exakt das haben wir vor. Vielleicht nicht gerade mit unserem Steemit account, aber Crypto eignet sich hervorragend für die Schatzsuche. Da muss man nicht so schwer schleppen und kann aus dem Code am Schluss noch ein Rätsel machen. Grundsätzlich gefällt mir die Lösung mit den Keys. Nachdem wir schon eine Weile mit crypto wallets zu tun haben ist Passwort sichern auch schon zur Routine geworden. Trotzdem vielen lieben Dank für die Aufklärung. Dein LOVE Projekt auf Hive klingt ja auch super interessant.
Das LOVE Projekt leidet unter Resonanzmangel - liebe steht nicht so hoch im Kurs wie "Rewards" - liegt aber wahrscheinlich an dem Wertemodell und dem Zeitgeist in der Gesellschaft.
Langfristig - auch über den Tod hinaus bleibt die Liebe der universelle Wert schlecht hin.
Ohne Liebe ist alles nichts.

Wenn ich das richtig verstehe bekommt man die Chance sich rein auf das zu konzentrieren was man wirklich ausdrücken und teilen möchte ohne daraus ein künstliches SEO, Clickbait und Ranking Theater nach Gusto eines mystischen Youtube Algorythmus machen zu müssen um überhaupt irgendwo angezeigt zu werden. So macht vlogging wieder Sinn und es macht Spass, Qualitäts Kontent zu erstellen wenn er von der Gemeinschaft und nicht von einem Code beurteilt wird.
