Markdown styling is a great way of managing a content. It makes the content have a good look, give the reader an easy read and also makes the content less noisy.

Even when a content seem to be so bulky, proper formatting of the content and effective use of markdown styling will give the reader what I call "readers retention" or "audience retention".

Having read through how to use markdown styling, I will love to apply 5 of them in this task and also show how to apply them.

• The first styling I want to apply is the header. The styling helps to distinguish the headings and sub-headings of a content from the main body of the content.

At the beginning of a post, if we have a heading as INTRODUCTION, adding hash # will always make the heading different from the main body of the post. The higher number of hashes #, the smaller the heading will become. Example;

N/B: Always leave a space after the #

• The second styling is italics. This styling is used to point out salient words in a content. It is achieved by adding asterisks * before and after the word or words.
  Example

*I love children*

• The third styling is centralizing a text or an image. This is achieved by adding <center> at the beginning of the word or image and adding </center> at the end of the word or image.

Example;
<center>INTRODUCTION</center>
I am happy to have you read my post.

Will give the result;

INTRODUCTION

Or to centralize an image, we add the image link in between the open and close code.
