What is plagiarism?

Plagiarism is the representation of another author's language, thoughts, ideas, or expressions as one's own original work.

Types of plagiarism?

We have many types of plagiarism but few are listed below.

  1. Verbatim plagiarism
    2.patchwork plagiarism
  2. Direct Plagiarism

Verbatim plagiarism.

We commit verbatim plagiarism when we directly copy text from a source and paste it into our own document without attribution.

"patchwork plagiarism"

patchwork plagiarism is a process of copying phrases, passages and ideas from different sources and putting them together to create a new text.

Direct Plagiarism

Direct plagiarism is the word-for-word report of a portion of someone else’s work, without acknowledging and quotation marks.

Paraphrasing plagiarism

This type of plagiarism includes the use of someone else’s work with a little corrections in the sentences and using it as one’s own.

Consequences of plagiarism include:

  1. it destroyed Students.

  2. it destroyed Professional Reputation.

3 it destroyed Academic Reputation.

  1. Legal Repercussions.

  2. monetary Repercussions.
