Hi Steemians, I am back once more for my #achievement 3 task, before that, Happy New Year to you all.

In this achievement 3 task, I will discuss a little bit on plagiarism and how it relates with content creation. First of all, after reading and understanding the instructions given by @cryptokannon

WHAT IS PLAGIARISM?
As per the explanation of Merriam-Webster dictionary, the verb ‘’to plagiarize ‘’ means; "to steal and pass off [the ideas or words of another] as one’s own: use [another’s production] without crediting the source".

"the act of using another person's words or ideas without giving credit to that person : the act of plagiarizing something." Source

Therefore, Plagiarism can be explained as the act of stealing someone's work and portraying it as your own. In these way, the stolen work is seen by other users as authentic and original without the knowledge that it was lifted without permission.

Basically, Plagiarism is fraud if you don't cite the source of the work. In Steemit, your original content is actively encouraged, and if you need to quote a source, simply link the source (text or image), instead of just saying the website.

For images, it's best you get it free from Pixabay , Unsplash , and Pexel (those are my favorite). Most images on these three websites are free for commercial use and may not need any required attribution.

Thank you for @cryptokannon and @Focusnow @Beautybb @steemalive for guiding and helping me become a newcomer in the @steemitcommunity.

I have read and understood the Steemit Etiquette on Steemit Community and will do my best to embrace them.
