#achievement 1: My Introduction to Steemit

Hi! Steemit community!

I’m Eleena Perera living on a small island called Sri Lanka is a South Asian country. Sri Lanka made Sinhala the main language in our country. My motherland is a Buddhism country. Even it is a small island now it has become a miracle, Because of the beauty. I was born in the southern part of the country. I’m 22 years old.

I’m a student of the HND private campus. I'm following an English Degree. My ambition is to be an English teacher one day. For as long as I can remember I always liked teaching people something, being helpful to others. A teacher is someone who gives us a lot of knowledge that never fails. I’m working hard to achieve my goal. My family comprises four members, I have one younger sister. I’m the eldest of my family. I am a Christian and I believe in the Holy Trinity; God, the son, the Holy Spirit.

I am a keen reader of novels and historical books. If I have leisure time I love reading books, listen to music, drawing, painting, handcraft, and collecting seashells. When I was a school student I was able to play many types of musical instruments. I was a member of the school western music band. I was studied at the best school in my city. I left school in 2018 and had worked a small job from 2018 up to 2021. After that, I applied for Highers studies.

When talking about my family background my father works abroad. He is in Iraq since 2021. My mother has a small fruit juice bar. They both love their occupation. That’s I have learned from my parents the value of time, honesty, hard work, and commitment to the purpose. My mother my strength as I can always count on her when I need her. She is the one who believes me more than all others. She is the backbone of our family. My father is someone who will always hide away his troubles for the sake of our family. He has taught me the real meaning of strength. I’m the eldest in my family. My sister is Leeniya. She is very clever more than me. I want to guide and take care of my sister. My family has been always by my side in ups and downs. They have taught me how to be a better person. Even my pet dog Zenu has taught me the meaning of loyalty. She always cheers me up when I don’t feel good. I spend most of my time at home with my family.

My friends say that I am a very funny and interesting girl with a good sense of humor. I feel extremely comfortable with them. I believe that friendship is one of the most important values in human life. I always try to think positively. A positive attitude to life and trustful relations with others is the basic way to success. Whenever I am with my friends, I observe their behaviors and listen to their opinions. In my life, I have to face a lot of unforgettable situations. I am more of an independent type of person. Being with different people has influenced me into appreciating different cultures and beliefs.
