WHAT IS ETTIQUETT
Etiquette as defined by Wikipedia "is the set of conventional rules of personal behaviour in polite society, usually in the form of an ethical code that delineates the expected and accepted social behaviours that accord with the conventions and norms observed by a society, a social class, or a social group."source
similarly in steemit community there are set of rule and code of conduct that we need to abide in as we go about our activities in steemit, when those rules are fragrantly disobeyed it may lead to the person being flagged and that will not tell good of you.
WHAT IS EXPECTED OF YOU?
So what do you need to do to familiarize yourself with these rules and ensure you abide by them? The simple step is to follow along your achievements post by the time you get to achievement 3 post and read the article by @Cryptokannon entitled "content etiquette"[source](Achievement 3 : Content Etiquette)
and the article by @Thecryptofiend entitled "The complete steemit etiquette guide (Revise 2.0)"[source](The Complete Steemit Etiquette Guide (Revision 2.0))
these two articles and will enlighten you, familiarize you, and enable you to have deep knowledge about the social ethics of existing steem community.

WHAT IS PLAGIARISM
According to the Merriam-Webster online dictionary, to "plagiarize" means:
to steal and pass off (the ideas or words of another) as one's own
to use (another's production) without crediting the source
to commit literary theft
to present as new and original an idea or product derived from an existing source
In other words, plagiarism is an act of fraud. It involves both stealing someone else's work and lying about it afterward.
BUT CAN WORDS AND IDEAS REALLY BE STOLEN?
According to U.S. law, the answer is yes. The expression of original ideas is considered intellectual property and is protected by copyright laws, just like original inventions. Almost all forms of expression fall under copyright protection as long as they are recorded in some way (such as a book or a computer file).
All of the following are considered plagiarism:
turning in someone else's work as your own,
copying words or ideas from someone else without giving credit,
failing to put a quotation in quotation marks,
giving incorrect information about the source of a quotation,
changing words but copying the sentence structure of a source without giving credit
copying so many words or ideas from a source that it makes up the majority of your work, whether you give credit or not (see our section on "fair use" rules).
Most cases of plagiarism can be avoided, however, by citing sources. Simply acknowledging that certain material has been borrowed and providing your audience with the informations necessary to find the source of the information.source
TYPES OF PLAGIARISM
There are different types of plagiarism but I will list just a few among them as stated in the article published by Rain Streef Kerk
1)Global plagiarism: Presenting an entire text by someone else as your own work.
2)Paraphrasing plagiarism: Rephrasing someone else’s ideas without citation.
3)Verbatim plagiarism: Directly copying a passage of text without citation.
4)Mosaic plagiarism: Combining text and ideas from different sources without citation.
5)Self-plagiarism: Reusing passages and ideas from your own previously submitted work.
6)Incorrect citation: Failing to give all the necessary information in your source citation.source
this is not a comprehensive list of all types of plagiarism, only few are referenced in this article
WHY SHOULD YOU AVIOD PLAGIARISM
The simple reason why we should avoid plagiarism is because no one will be happy to see his work plagiarised so it will be unfair to plagiarise that of others without proper citation, also plagiarism makes you a thief and as a result you will face the consequences as the law demands, lastly there is no room for plagiarism in steemit platform and offenders will be duly prosecuted.
CONCLUSION
As mentioned earlier, details of how we can avoid plagiarism in steemit community is thoroughly highlighted by the article's published by cryptokannon (content etiquette) and Thecryptofiend (The complete steemit etiquette guide).
Personally I have read and understood the Steemit Etiquette on Steemit Community and will do my best to embrace them and abide by them.
Though u've tried to explain something about Etiquette but I think it can be more detailed than this. You can talk about forms of Etiquette as related to @steemit.
Thank you.
Thanks for the observation
