Achievement 4: Applying markdown // fictional story;Igbele forest i by @gracellagift

Hello steemians welcome to my blog today. I am very happy today to write about my achievement 4 task which is: Applying Markdown Styles. On this post, I will talk briefly about my fictional tourism to Igbele Forest, Delta state in nigeria.

Igbele Forest, Delta

Since I became reasonable, I've been hearing about the igbele forest that is located in delta state. I have heard so much about how dangerous it is to visit there. Although as a person, my thoughts was that anything that has to connect with Forest must also connect dangerous animals. Animals like:

• Lions
• Snakes (python)
• Leopard
• Tigers
• Hyenas
• Cheetah and lots more of this kind.

I thought heavily on this and was much afraid of going closer to the Forest. So one of the days while I was resting, my imagination took me to this deadly forest that I was afraid of, on this imagination I saw myself at the front of this Forest. The power of the forest grabbed me and then when I turned back screaming for help I saw 3 old men with white garmet, It was so terrible for me that day because I thought I was going to join my ancestors.

Then I heard them saying; that they are the Itsekiri tribe, they have come to perform some rituals. Then with my intuition, I said, what kind of ritual are they talking about. To my surprise one of them answered and said, we are from the Itsekiri tribe and we have come to carry out our rituals, then with boldness I asked. What kind of ritual are you talking about? Then the oldest in their midst replied with a thick and heavy voice saying.

"We came with 2 corpse that is about to be buried so we can examine if they actually live a good life while they were on earth" one of them replied again saying; "If we check his life and the we notice any bloody or faulty life, He will be thrown inside the forest." Then out of curiosity, I asked again, How are you going to check it? Are you God?

Then the 3 of them replied instantly saying; The Itsekiri tribe has an Oracle that lives in this forest that usually runs the test. If the Oracle finds out that any of the deceased lived a faulty live, he will dumb the corpse on the forest.

After all this sayings, I nodded my head and exclaimed; No wonder this place is tagged deadly forest. So I asked another question saying; So what you're trying to tell me is that there's no:

1. Lion
2. Tiger
3. Cheetah
4. Elephant

In this Forest? They replied and said this forest is used for rituals, please don't ask us this question again except you want to join your ancestors. When I heard this I kept quiet and watched as they parformed their ritual. After the ritual, they dumbed 1 corpse on the forest and left with the other one. I then realized that the forest is tagged evil because of the the evil activities that is been carried out there. That was how the imagination ended.

The Igbele Forest is actually a forest that is located at Ode-Itsekiri Warri Delta state Nigeria. The reason what it is called igbele forest is because of how evil it is. Until today the ritual is still existing. Here I end my story thank you very much for reading. Please this is an imaginary story, although the forest and the rituals do exist but I've not been to the forest before. Thank you.
