Here I'm going to express some words about plagiarism.

Plagiarism

Plagiarism is defined as presenting someone's ideas, thoughts without mentioning the source of that.

Common forms of plagiarism
• Submit another's work as one's own work.
• Submit your past work for multiple projects.
• Imitate someone else's work without adding anything.
• Copy without reference.
• To add to someone else's work by making small changes. If the copying content is 70% and added content is 30% then it comes in plagiarism.
• Misreferencing the source.

  1. Complete plagiarism
  2. Source-based plagiarism
  3. Direct plagiarism
  4. Self or Auto plagiarism
  5. Paraphrasing plagiarism
  6. Inaccurate Authorship
  7. Mosaic plagiarism
  8. Accidental plagiarism

1. Complete plagiarism:
It refers to that plagiarism when someone submit their work mentioning their own name on that.

2. Source-based plagiarism:
This plagiarism happens when the writer mentioning the wrong source or we can say that when misleading source is involved.

3. Direct plagiarism:
This happens when someone copying another's work without using their own ideas and views.

4.Self or Auto plagiarism:
This refers to that plagiarism when someone publishing their own previous work without doing any effort again.

5. Paraphrasing plagiarism:
This happens when someone change only some words from the sentence of other author without mentioning their name and submit it as their own work.

6. Inaccurate Authorship:
When someone copy others work without giving him credit.

7. Mosaic plagiarism:
This refers to that plagiarism when someone keep the same mean of other's author by changing the words by researching words which have same means of that.

8. Accidental plagiarism:
Sometimes peope do plagiarism by mistake this usually seen the students

Citation

We should always mention the source from which we have copied the data. We should always mention the source or the site with the copied data or the date which is not our own.

For Example-
A citation is an official document or speech which praises a person for something brave or special that they have done.Source

Like the above definition is copied from some site. I have mentioned the proper source from where I have copied this.

Remark-

Sort:  
  • Give an example of citation by using a sentence or phrase not of your authorship , and give its link from where you have taken it.
  • put the country tag separately and add this tag #newcomer.
  • Put this remark at the end of your post.
