Hello Everyone!!!
• WHAT IS PLAGIARISM?
Plagiarism is copying someone else's published work without their consent and using it in your work without giving credit to that specific person. People around the world are mostly unaware and have a very vague point of view when it comes to plagiarism. While writing blogs, articles, essays on should
be careful while copying work from the Internet or some other source.
• CITATION:
If you are using another person in your project or assignments you should give credit to the original writer and this can be done by using the technique of citation. citations are used for giving references and saving yourself from plagiarism. As long as you are giving credit to the owner of the original writing you can save yourself from the repercussions.
Example:
• IN LAWFUL ASPECT:
From a legal perspective, plagiarism is a crime, and lawsuits are filed. Even the intellectual property if copied amounts to plagiarism. I will advise the newbies or people who have initially started their career as writers, authors poets, composers, etc to carefully rectify the impact of plagiarism.
• TYPES OF PLAGIARISM:
~Direct Plagiarism:
Among the several methods of plagiarism, direct plagiarism is the most destructive one. When the plagiarist replicates the text from someone else’s work and is negligent to cite the reference then it is direct plagiarism.
~Mosaic Plagiarism:
There is another kind of plagiarism that is involuntary. In this outbreak, the plagiarist may have cited the source of the content he has inferred to. But, if it does not acknowledge the referred part or put them under the quotation marks correctly, then the writer perpetuates the humiliation of plagiarism.
~Self Plagiarism:
Self-plagiarism is one of the widespread types of plagiarism, where students copy and paste part of their formerly presented educational articles. If the novice submits a similar paper for two varied class projects without asking the apprehensive professor, then that is assessed self-plagiarism.
~Accidental Plagiarism:
When the plagiarist misquotes the expressions of the text taken from the original essence or does not illustrate the reference just or mentions an erroneous source, that is contemplated as accidental plagiarism.
