WHAT IS PLAGIARISM?

Plagiarism means kidnapper or abductor. In simple words, stealing is practicing the content of another's thoughts without the permission of others. That is, presenting someone else's work, various writing content, writing style and ideas as one's own or using and introducing oneself as one's own writing or work is plagiarism. Plagiarism is a heinous act.Steem networks are not allow Plagiarism. If a user copies another user's content on the Steem network and identifies it as their own, then he is a hijacker. So everyone should avoid Plagiarism.

Types of Plagiarism

There are many types of plagiarism such as:

  • Accidental plagiarism.
  • Mosaic Plagiarism.
  • Complete plagiarism.
  • Global Plagiarism.
  • Self-plagiarism.

Accidental plagiarism

Plagiarism accidentally occurs if a user misuses another user's source to cite the source, intentionally or unintentionally. Accidental plagiarism is a form of theft and accidental plagiarism is a punishable offense.

Mosaic Plagiarism

This type of Plagiarism is a Plagiarism
that a user uses without using any quotation marks from any source. Also, if a user finds a synonym for work, it is also known as Mosaic Plagiarism.

Complete plagiarism

Complete plagiarism is when a user publishes another user's writing as their own. Also copying the content of other user work without reference is also after the Complete plagiarism basis.

Self-plagiarism

This plagiarism occurs when the author uses all the pictures or information in his post without reference by visiting any website or Google from the company on the internet. Moreover, if an author uses the same image over and over again in his post, then it will be considered as Self-plagiarism.

Global Plagiarism

When an author uses all his information with all the help from other websites like Google, it is called Global Plagiarism. This plagiarism is commonly used at the college or university level. Because all the information used by the author is available on other websites like Google.

How to avoid plagiarism

Basically plagiarism is a very cheap practice. No author should steal another author's writing. Because it reduces the respect of the author. Moreover, copying the ideas of other writers is a bad thing. If we can use our own writing, we can move forward successfully.

  • If you identify or use the content or documents of an author's work as your own, you need to use that author's reference.

  • All images in your work or post must be completely copyright free.

  • If you use a quote from an author, you must use the quotation mark.

  • The author must check and submit the content using plagiarism checker before submitting any content.

  • Always learn to use your own knowledge properly and write everything as you like.
