Hello steemians,

I would like to complete my second task which talks about basic security on steem.

First of all I would like to define ;what is security on steem?

• it's the condition of not being threatened, especially physically, psychologically, emotionally or financially.

• It can also be said as a guarantee.

Question 1

Have you retrieve all your keys on steemit?

Yes,I have retrieved all the keys.I saved them safely in my Google drive accounts to secure them after a successful registration which include posting key,master key,owner key and active key.

Question 2

Do you know each of these key functions and restrictions?

Yes,I have an idea on each key, that is;

Master key: this is the key that can moves all the other keys including the owner.its suppose to be kept securely, perfectly and safely.The account can be hacked if one get hold of the master key.

Posting key: this is the key for their daily login's it's e key that allows you to post, edit,comments, vote,resteem and follow others on steemit

Active key:this key is used for other tasks, which includes, voting for witnessess, transfer of funds, power up and down transactions, converting steem dollars, placing market orders and updating of profile details.

Owner key:As the name implies with this key you are the owner of this account. this is a very powerful key because it can change any key of an account including the owner key.this key can't be used anyhow but rather useful for emergencies.its suppose to be stored offline and used to recover a compromise account.

Memo key: this is the key used for encrypting and decrypting memos when transferring funds.

Question 3

How do you plan to keep your master password?

I have saved mine in my drives and Google drive account .I have also downloaded and kept on my PC drive.

Question 4

*Do you know how to transfer your steem token to another user account?
Yes, this is done by;

• click on the profile icon to display a drop down menu
• .select profile from the drop down menu
• select and click on wallet
• ckick on steem with the small down pointed arrow
• from the pop-up menu, type in the username of the person you want to send the steem token to
• click on next to confirm

Question 5

Do you know how to power up your STEEM?
Yes, this is done by;

• go to profile
• click on wallet
• click on steem with the small down pointed arrow
• click on power up
• enter the amount to power up and then click on power up to confirm
