ADVICE TO OTHER NEWCOMERS ON STEEMIT: LEARN FROM MY MISTAKES

in Newcomers' Community4 years ago

Greetings to all the wonderful members of Newcomers' Community especially all those that are just arriving or joining this community, I wish you all great success.

Today I achieved a new status in this community I became an achievement1 verified member and I am super excited for that, although I made a few mistakes which is what I will like to point out to us newcomers.

I submitted my achievement1 task post and without waiting for it to be verified, I went ahead to start posting my other achievement tasks. After seven days, the achievement1 task post has paid out, yet I had not been verified, at that point, I had to start complaining which made some members of the dedicated admin of this great community look into my plight, and today I was verified.

POINTS TO NOTE FROM THE ABOVE STORY:

  • As a newcomer, when you make your achievement1 post always wait for it to be verified before going to other tasks.
  • Whenever you are not clear always ask questions you can drop your questions as comments on the announcement post, it will be attended to.
  • Whenever you feel something is not right always speak up, if I had kept quiet and did not speak up, no one would have known my plight and my achievement posts would never have gotten verified. You can also drop your complaints if you have any on the announcement post, that is where I dropped mine.
  • Always know and remember that we have wonderful people as the administrators of this community and they are always willing to help out, my case showed me that.

I want to appreciate @belenguerra for seeing my comment and reacting to it, taking up my concerns swiftly thank you.
I also want to specially appreciate @cryptokannon for also making out time out of her busy schedule to look into my case and giving me the right directions as well as updating my status.

Once again I am super super excited even as I await further guide from these wonderdul mentors.
