(1) Have you retrieved all your keys on steemit?

Yes i have. These keys are: posting key, active key, owners key and memo key.

(2) Do you know each of those key functions and restrictions?

Yes i do.

( a) Posting key - The posting key makes it possible for me to post accounts, comment, edit, vote, resteem, as well as follow or mute other accounts. Again, with the help of the posting key, i am able to login into my steemit account at will.

Since i may have my password or key compromised the more i use it, therefore a limited posting key exists to confine the harm that a compromised account key would cause.

( b) Active key - This is used for more serious tasks like transferring funds, converting steem Dollars, voting for witnesses, updating profile details and Avatar. It also plays an important role in placing a market order.

(c) Owners key - This is put to use when there is a need for it. It happens to be the most influential key because it can change any key of an account, which encompasses the owners key.

This key is necessarily stored offline and is functional when a compromised account is to be recovered.

( d) Memo key: When funds are transferred, this key takes care of encrypting and decrypting memos. To encrypt a memo, it is necessary that i use the pound/ # sign before it.

(3) How do you plan to keep your master password?

To keep my master password, it is imperative that i save and back it up. Additionally, it is important that i store an offline copy should anything happen to it or there is a hard drive failure. To save my password, i can use a digital offline storage like an external disk or flash drive, together with printer paper stored in a fireproof safe. What is more, for best redundancy, it is recommended that a safe deposit box should be used.

(4) Do You Know How To Transfer Your Steem Token To Another Steem User Account?

Yes i know how to transfer my steem token to another steem user account

Below are the steps i took:

• I first of all activated my wallet by signing in with my posting key

• From wallet page I clicked on steem
• then on a drop down, menu I clicked on transfer.

• a new page opened where I typed in the username of the account I intended transferring to my token, and the number of token i wanted to transfer.

• then I clicked next
  

• a new page opened where I copied and pasted my active key and validated the transaction by clicking okay.

(5) Do You Know How To Power Up Your Steem?

Yes, I know how to power up my steem. Below is the step i took to do my first power up.

• at my wallet page, I clicked on steem, then on a drop down menu I chose Power Up

• a new page opened, where i Put in the amount of steems I wanted to power up
• then I clicked on power up

• a new page opened and i clicked on okay

• a new page opened whereby I copied and pasted my active key to validate the transaction

• I've successfully powered up! My steem power is 15SP now.
