My Introductory Post To Steemit, Mentorship by @goodybest

Hello great Steemians! It's my delight to identify myself with all of you in this platform. My name is Michael Benson, a native of Obo Attai in Nsit Ibom local government area of Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. I was born 42 years ago to a humble family. We are 5 in number and I happen to be the second child in the list of children my parents have-3 boys and 2 girls. I am blissfully married and the marriage is blessed with 2 lovely children, a boy and a girl.

Area of work and study:

I had my primary education in a small remote village called Akansoko in Akpabuyo LGA of Cross River State, Nigeria. I then proceeded to Nico Secondary Commercial School, Calabar, Cross River State. Upon graduation, I got admission into University of Uyo( Uniuyo) Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria.

I graduated with a B.SC in Business Management. I am a business man who engages in legitimate ventures and earns a livelihood from the proceeds. I also double as as a business coach who helps start up businesses for friends, though not for profit purpose.

Hobbies and passion:

I am in love with reading. As a voracious reader, I have been able to expand my vocabulary to a reasonably degree. The essence of this is not to mystify and impress my audience but to inform them and improve on my speaking skill.

Writing is also my forte. I spend quality time at my leisure writing for fun. My writing covers a wide range of subjects. Additionally, I love playing and watching soccer. Though I don't play professionally, but I do it as an exercise to keep my body fit. As an unrepentant Chelsea FC fan, I cry profusely if the Blues as they are nicknamed are losing. On the other side of the coin, I get extremely excited if they are winning.

I am gregarious by nature, small wonder then that occasionally, I sit out With friends and family. During this time, I crack a lot of jokes and this helps me jettison whatever anxiety and boredom that may be weighing on my mind. Lest I forget, I love cooking so much.

Interestingly, I can prepare a number of Nigerian delicacies especially the ones common in Akwa Ibom State such as Afang soup, Edikang Ikong soup, Ekpang Nkukwo e.t.c. When my wife and children have a taste of these mouth watering and sumptuous delicacies, they long for more!

To crown it all, I am enthusiastic or passionate about worshipping my creator, Jehovah who has kept me and my family alive up until now. Hence, I don't take my spiritual routine for granted.

Dislikes:

I vehemently abhor mudslinging, gossip, bad association and hypocrisy.

My Experience With Crypto:

I have heard about the different crypto currencies in the market but I have not tried one before. This platform has now given me a vista of opportunity to get to know more about how crypto works.

What sort of posts written by others are you looking for?

I prefer posts from others in the areas of Commerce, Sports, Politics, Relationships and Family, Religion, Crypto and the like.

What posts do you think you will be creating?

I will be writing about the Economy, Sports, Politics, Religion, Education, how to have a happy family, Sex and Marriage, e.t.c.

How I Found About Steemit:

My friend and Christian Sister @goodybest introduced it to me. She took time to elucidate to me how the platform operates and the benefits it accrues and that she is a beneficiary of Steemit's reward system. This sparked up my interest, so I signed up. It is my hope that as proud member of this platform, I will contribute my quota towards catapulting Steemit to an enviable height.

It is also my hope that many will be willing and ready to invest in this platform and thus kiss bye bye to abject poverty. This dream will be realized because I am determined to introduce this initiative to others who are anxiously looking for this opportunity to excel.
