Hello everyone,
After going through the article written by @cryptokannon and by @katerinaramm on markdown application, i came to understand what markdown really means and how to apply them when making a post on steemit. I came across some markdowns that i found so interesting and of recent i have been making use of them whenever i want to make a post on steemit. Some of these markdowns include:
1.Headlines
2.List
3.How to justify a text
4.Link
5.bold and italics

EXPLANATION

1.HEADLINES:This is done by putting an #(hash symbol) then a space(clicking on the space bar) on the left of your word/sentence to make it a headline. As the number of #(hash symbol) increases, the headline size decreases. Examples are seen below:

2.LIST:This is done using Asterisk symbol * or numbers to create a list. Note that when you put the asterisk symbol * you need to give a space by clicking the space bar before inserting the item or word.
a. Examples of how to list items using Asterisk symbol (*) include:

• steem
• wallet

b. Examples of how to list items using numbers

1. Steem
2. wallet

3.How to justify a text : To justify a text you place the synthax or command found in the image below "above and below a text ".

Let me compose a text and input the two commands above to illustrate my point:

The above text is been justified while the image below shows the text without justification or command: ![IMG_20211101_131034_493.JPG]( 4. LINK: Addition of link on steemit when making a post can be done by adding the @ symbol before the word to make the link visible and clickeable. Example: @wilosmith when clicked on will direct the user directly to my account or profile on steemit blog page.

5.BOLD AND ITALICS
a. BOLD: This is done by placing double asterisks before the word and after the word . In other words the word will have to be in between the double asterisks. Example is seen below :

b. ITALICS: To italics a word you have to place the asterisks symbol in front of the word and after the word. Example is seen below:
