Understanding Steem tools part 2 – Review Steemscan [Achievement 5]

in Newcomers' Community4 years ago (edited)

One of the vital aspects in the Crypto space is the ability to exchange crypto into fiat (a process that is often termed as “Cashing out”). Crypto users need a quick and convenient means of exchange. I remember back in the days when I had just started blogging on Steemit, I had no idea of how to withdraw my earned steem. It was a very puzzling moment for me as I had to heavily rely on other old steemians for help in executing withdraws for me. They always charged me some fees for helping me out in the withdraw process.

Newbies need to be enlightened on the various user-friendly steem exchange tools in order to always run withdraws independently for security purposes and also avoid being taken advantage of by some other forks for their lack of knowledge on how the withdraw algorithm works out.

I want to take off this moment and share with you an amazing and easy to use steem tool called Steemscan. What is Steemscan? This is a steem exchange tool built on the steem blockchain. It is used in converting steem into other cryptocurrencies such as USDT, BTC, TRX. Steemscan was developed by @futureshock and @roadofrich. It is a user-friendly tool that can easily be understood by even a first time user. The other beauty about the steem scan tool is that it requires no KYC for someone to use it.

Let’s take a look at some of its Features

  • Enter the withdraw address to which you want your converted crypto to be sent to.
  • Click create order
  • Confirm the transaction by entering your active key in the steem login prompt.

Note that; When making small steem transactions, it’s advisable to convert it to TRX than BTC and USDT because of the relatively higher fixed fees charged on the later cryptocurrencies.

You have been upvoted by Steem Greeters from STEEM POD Project and we are voting with the Steemit Community Curator @steemcurator03 account to support newcomers coming into steemit and to reward contents that bring value to steem community as a whole. STEEM On!

Thanks so much for the support.

This is very useful review @yohan2on and with great recommendation on cryptocurrency to use when they transact with a small amount of money to move to another wallet. TRX is the best to move our crypto to another wallet as the fees are almost none/free and faster too. Does exchange in your country have TRX listed yet?
Sorry to hear about your experience of being taken advantage of at the beginning of your journey in steem. You have gone through that so you could teach the newbies about that and guiding them on the right path. Thank you for your work and contribution to STEEM POD team.

Unfortunately, TRX is not yet listed on the Binance Uganda exchange. I hope it will be listed soon in the future when the demand for it increases in my country.

Thanks so much for appreciating my current efforts. I will keep doing my level best for the STEEM POD project. You are my inspiration and leader and you have always shown me a good example. I have do more than this. I am so glad to be on the Steem Pod team.

Thanks so much @yohan2on for your support in reviewing these tools i completed my achievement 5 task 1 thanks to your detailed explanation.I am grateful. Please what is the meaning of KYC?

okay, that's good. You are welcome. KYC is just an abbreviation for Know Your Customer. Those are just personal credentials/details required of someone in order to create an account.
