LOCATION

A termite waterfall located in Panton Rayeuk Village, Kuta Makmur District, North Aceh Regency, Aceh, has become a new tourist destination in the district. To get to that location, you can go through the Simpang Cunda, Lhokseumawe City to Kuta Makmur District, North Aceh Regency. The distance is about 20 kilometers. However, to get there there is no public transportation available such as a car.

ANALYSIS

The termite waterfall also has beautiful views and very clear water. In this place we can feel a cool and peaceful atmosphere. According to the guard of the waterfall area, it is called Termite waterfall because the waterfall is not high, which is only 2 meters, so we can creeping down the waterfall. In this waterfall there is a natural pool, which we can use as a place to bathe.

So far, the tourism object is still managed traditionally by village officials and the region's youth. There has not been a magnificent signboard like a destination that has been touched by the government's hand. Therefore, we visitors must take the initiative to keep each other clean so as not to pollute the population of the place, because this place is very beautiful without the garbage that is scattered in the water in the termite waterfall. And we also protect the environment from various wastes, not only the responsibility of the cleaners, as humans who have common sense, and are responsible, of course have a sense of concern for their own environment. But many people have lost their minds.

Currently, there are many tourist attractions visited by tourists that look poorly maintained, a lot of plastic waste is scattered on the banks of rivers, beaches, and several other tourist attractions. The scattered garbage comes from food used by visitors who are not responsible and are not sensitive to environmental conditions. However, it will have an impact on them.

LUNCH MENU

Before we take action to do a clean up, we first do grilling fish, for the lunch menu, in the agenda of preparing food we divide the tasks so that it is fast, me with @pojan and @ponpase we are in charge of grilling fish. and @teukumuhas and @guski in charge of preparing soy sauce to be combined with grilled fish which is very delicious

Action Description

This activity started with communication through WhatsApp groups between the Youth Club and the SDGs Community, we held a meeting to discuss several programs that we would implement in the future. Why do we have a meeting at "AIR TERJUN RAYAP"? because it has natural beauty and cool air, so on this occasion "AIR TERJUN RAYAP" is our choice to hold a meeting. There we didn't only discuss the program, we also held a group burn and swam in the river together.

When all finished the discussion, eat and swim together. We continued socialization activities with local traders and visitors about the positive planetary movement in order to preserve nature at the "air terjun rayap" tourist spot. One of the efforts we make to make them aware and sensitive is to show our real actions by doing Clean Ups on the banks and streams.

We feel very happy to be able to enjoy the beautiful "AIR TERJUN RAYAP" and to be able to do a clean up and be witnessed by many visitors, in the form of youth's concern for preserving this beautiful nature and also setting an example so as not to pollute the environment and litter. In this action, we also received a lot of support and positive responses from several well-known news accounts in aceh such as the "ACEH WORD TIME" Instagram account.

MEETING CONCLUSION

In this meeting in order to discuss the program that will be carried out in the future, we can conclude several conclusions that we mutually agree on, among others;

• Develop a program for the next 3 months.
• Conducting campaigns and program promotions through social media and online news portals.
• Recruiting members and volunteers.
• Promote Steem Blockchain through activities and programs supported by @steemforsdgs.
• Develop personal accounts and community accounts through content and investment.
• Encourage more member interest and activity on Steemit
• Work harder to achieve the vision and mission of the community
