RE: My First Attempt At Creating A Bag And Learning To Sew

in OCD4 years ago

Hey @erikah I got your mention ;)

I will be hanging around for the rest of this month finishing up on some commitments I had for the needlework community.

Let me say that #NeedleWorkMonday is going nowhere! Although I am stepping away to take care of family the Community still lives on!

Most people don’t realize that though this started out as a tag and challenge it grew into an actual
community. We hold contests and challenges within the community but it’s not a weekly challenge. We are instead a weekly gathering of inspiration, encouragement and support and this MUST continue. Even if there were no one to run challenges and events, my hopes is that the tag and community involvement will continue on strong.

As of right now we have three administrators who will be meeting throughout this month to figure out the community’s next steps. So please do continue using the tag, posting directly from the NeedleWorkMonday Community on Monday’s and sharing the process of your work as you have done wonderfully above ~ 💛

This would have been an excellent first #needleworkmonday sewing post! When we are learning a new skill we pay close attention to detail and because of that are able to explain and show our process very well. I’m so glad you are trying out sewing and I hope you complete many projects!

Thanks so much for being apart of this community and I hope you get to know the other needleworkers. Until we meet again ~

Take care. 😘

Sorry for the late reply, I've been busy making bags for #needkeworkmonday 😁
Thank you for your detailed reply, I'm glad you're going to be around. This is addictive, I know.

I'm going to post on Monday if everything goes well as it looks like me and my sewing machine are going to be best friends from now on 😊

Thank you for being amazing, take care and see you around 🤗♥️

I’m so glad to hear this! It’s going to bring you so much joy and pleasure being able to sew with your new best friend. 😊

Aww thanks so much! You are quite amazing yourself. I’ll look forward to connecting with you more sometime in the future. Take care and have fun ~ 😃😉🧡
