Wishful thinking. If he can't do it for Steem, what makes you think he can do it for Hive? The community that actually broke off his new toy? I think not.
I think he just wants to mess things up on Hive, either price manipulation or governance. Even with with a 30 day wait on witness voting, it wouldn't stop a man who is absolutely committed to destruction & revenge.
Time will tell.
If that is the case, it is going to work out even worse for him than it did on Steem. I don't think this is him buying on the markets though, or at least not most of it.
