La civilización griega es sin duda una de las más apreciables y prominentes de todos los tiempos; antes de la época en que florece la filosofía, las respuestas a dudas y preguntas sobre el pasado, presente y futuro se consultaba al Oráculo, una especie de institución esotérica que tenía la cualidad de saber todo, al menos así se creyó durante muchos siglos hasta que el razonamiento y lógica humana empezó a formularse planteamientos.

The Greek civilization is undoubtedly one of the most appreciable and prominent of all times; before the time when philosophy flourished, the answers to doubts and questions about the past, present and future were consulted to the Oracle, a kind of esoteric institution that had the quality of knowing everything, at least this was believed for many centuries until human reasoning and logic began to be formulated.

Se dice que en el pronaos del templo de Apolo, ubicado en Delfos, se encontraba la inscripción enigmática con que inicio este post; la frase grabada en los bloques de piedra caliza daban un místico aviso a la humanidad. Los pitagóricos y filósofos de la talla de Sócrates y su discípulo Platón, la difundieron en sus discursos mayéuticos y obras sobre la esencia del ser y su búsqueda de conocimiento.

It is said that in the pronaos of the temple of Apollo, located in Delphi, there was the enigmatic inscription with which this post began; the phrase engraved on the limestone blocks gave a mystical warning to humanity. The Pythagoreans and philosophers of the stature of Socrates and his disciple Plato, spread it in their mayeutic speeches and works about the essence of being and its search for knowledge.

Han pasado unos 2700 años desde que en suelo griego emergiera esta sugerencia hacia un estado de consciencia que nos permita conectar con nuestro ser interior; al menos así lo he percibido yo. Cuando silenciamos la mente y empezamos a sentir esa esencia que llevamos dentro de nuestros corazones, entendemos el significado de la famosa frase griega.

It has been some 2700 years since this suggestion emerged on Greek soil towards a state of consciousness that allows us to connect with our inner being; at least that is how I have perceived it. When we silence the mind and start to feel that essence we carry within our hearts, we understand the meaning of the famous Greek phrase.

Es probable que se le de poca importancia a esta mística máxima; sobre todo si revisamos la literatura mitológica y encontramos que Apolo se hace del Oráculo una vez que sale triunfador en la batalla que libró con la feroz serpiente Pitón, hija de Gea (diosa de la Tierra). Este fantástico relato tiene doble propósito, primero, recordarte la creencia antiquísima que la humanidad tiene hacia los dioses; la segunda, que te des cuenta cómo las creencias caducan y son sustituidas por nuevos paradigmas a través de los tiempos.

It is likely that this mystical maxim is given little importance; especially if we review the mythological literature and find that Apollo becomes the Oracle once he is victorious in the battle he fought with the fierce serpent Python, daughter of Gaea (goddess of the Earth). This fantastic story has a double purpose, first, to remind you of the very ancient belief that humanity has towards the gods; second, to make you aware of how beliefs expire and are replaced by new paradigms throughout the ages.

The age of the gods was left behind with the flowering of philosophical knowledge; this concern for the unknown and truth being precisely what opens the doors of science, it structures and deepens the way in which something is admitted as false or true. Among these results it is concluded that life begins with some single-celled creature that appears in the depths of the ocean and expands to the continental surface on the primitive Earth.

Las teorías más evolucionistas apoyadas por la comunidad científica se inclinan a pensar que el hombre como especie (Homo sapiens) deriva de un particular tipo de primates. La cadena biológica y filogenética no es tema de discusión e interés de este post; no obstante, la refiero por los enfoques de paradigmas que de acuerdo al tiempo se tengan.

The most evolutionary theories supported by the scientific community are inclined to think that man as a species (Homo sapiens) is derived from a particular type of primate. The biological and phylogenetic chain is not a subject of discussion and interest of this post; nevertheless, I refer it by the approaches of paradigms that according to the time are had.

No me importa si me puso aquí un alienígena,un fragmento de energía del big bang, si salí de las profundidades del agua o si mi bisabuelo genético es un simio; no me preocupo sino me ocupo de vivir y sentir el presente, el aquí y ahora. Ese estado de consciencia plena y dichosa que logro con la introspección, con el diálogo interno donde la mente no es arbitro ni moderadora porque la apago como desconectar la computadora una vez que la utilizo.

I don't care if I was put here by an alien, a fragment of energy from the big bang, if I came out from the depths of the water or if my genetic great-grandfather is an ape; I don't care but I am concerned with living and feeling the present, the here and now. That state of full and blissful consciousness that I achieve with introspection, with internal dialogue where the mind is neither arbiter nor moderator because I turn it off like turning off the computer once I use it.

Una vez que logrado esta comunicación consciente, sé que mi mundo lo contiene todo; absolutamente todo lo que necesito para ser dichosa lo poseo, así como esta hermosa flor se regocija con la lluvia. Teniendo esto en cuenta, valoro y disfruto de manera consciente cada elemento, organismo y componente del entorno.

Once I achieve this conscious communication, I know that my world contains everything; absolutely everything I need to be happy I possess, just as this beautiful flower rejoices in the rain. With this in mind, I consciously value and enjoy every element, organism and component of the environment.

Así me he reencontrado con mi propio YO, con mi verdadera esencia o conciencia. No sé como le llamas tú, varia mucho de acuerdo a la orientación religiosa, filosófica o espiritual que cada quien posea.

This is how I have found my I, my true essence or consciousness. I don't know what you call it, it varies a lot according to the religious, philosophical or spiritual orientation that each one has.

En pleno caos a causa de la pandemia viral que sea provocada o accidental ha puesto en actividad a la población mundial, tengo la percepción que debemos volver a ser niños para lograr ese estado de conexión consciente. Cuando iniciaba mis primeras prácticas, imaginaba la inocente mente de mi sobrino Marco; una mente que no cuestiona y se deja llevar por los instintos, una naturaleza propia del ser humano que fue corrompida por los impuestos sistemas de creencias e influencia de la sociedad y sus alocados cambios.

In the midst of the chaos caused by the viral pandemic, whether caused or accidental, that has set the world's population in motion, I have the perception that we must become children again in order to achieve that state of conscious connection. When I was starting my first practices, I imagined the innocent mind of my nephew Marco; a mind that does not question and is driven by instinct, a human nature that was corrupted by the imposed belief systems and influence of society and its crazy changes.

Donde quiera que me encuentre muestro profundo respeto hacia mis semejantes y cualquier componente del entorno, esta filosofía de vida me ha llevado a cambiar erradas creencias en la superioridad de la especie humana hacia las demás, biodiversidad, recursos naturales y ambiente en general. Qué mejor lugar para decir esto, sino es el Río Támesis (Londres) que sufrió una de las mayores contaminaciones de la historia anglosajona a causa de la inconsciencia social, desencadenando una terrible epidemia que diezmó gran parte de la población.

Wherever I am, I show deep respect for my fellow man and any component of the environment. This philosophy of life has led me to change mistaken beliefs in the superiority of the human species over others, biodiversity, natural resources and the environment in general. What better place to say this than on the River Thames (London) which suffered one of the greatest contaminations in Anglo-Saxon history due to social unconsciousness, triggering a terrible epidemic that decimated a large part of the population.

Concluyo con dos mensajes de amor hacia nuestra especie, los seres pensantes más inteligentes del planeta:

• Muestren amor y respeto hacia nuestra madre naturaleza, esto comprende muchos aspectos y sugiere el compromiso de un cambio de paradigma sobre cómo venimos abusando del Planeta; mi intención no es señalar a la comunidad China u otras culturas que sienten atracción hacia especies vegetales o animales silvestres, NO. Es un llamado de amor para que revisemos y corrijamos deletéreos comportamientos que ponen en peligro nuestra existencia misma. No solamente la caza, tráfico y comercialización ilegal de especies es responsable de las situaciones de aprendizaje que nos está enviando la naturaleza, es cualquier acción e incluso omisión que ocasione alteraciones significativas al ambiente.

Show love and respect for our mother nature, this comprises many aspects and suggests a commitment to a paradigm shift in how we have been abusing the planet; my intention is not to point out the Chinese community or other cultures that are attracted to plant or wild animal species, NO. It is a call of love for us to review and correct deleterious behaviors that endanger our very existence. Not only is the illegal hunting, trafficking and commercialization of species responsible for the learning situations that nature is sending us, it is any action and even omission that causes significant alterations to the environment.

• Agradece y siente amor hacia esa chispa, energía, ser o fuente que alienta tu mente y cuerpo; hazlo según tu concepción religiosa o espiritual, incluso si eres ateo hazlo agradeciendo a ese nada que te anima y mantiene en este mundo. Lo demás es disfrutar y canalizar la dicha que sale de nuestro interior; nada hay que buscar afuera, todo está adentro.

Be grateful and feel love for that spark, energy, being or source that encourages your mind and body; do it according to your religious or spiritual conception, even if you are atheist do it thanking that nothing that encourages and maintains you in this world. The rest is to enjoy and channel the joy that comes from within; nothing is to be sought outside, everything is within.
