Up in the mountain, down in the valley, part 1.

You may have noticed I have a passion for outdoorlife and photography. I love being out, up in the mountain and down in the valley. Every trip is different, sometimes there is big WOOOW factors and great experiences, other times smaller things happen or experienced but still worth it. You never know what will happen, but something will. Even if I feel lazy and the couch screaming for company I have never regret a hike or a little trip out. I feel good afterwards.

Last Sunday I was a little unsure if I would be able to go on a trip. I was out the day before, and was a little lazy, but the weather was pretty good in the morning with opportunities for nice light and maybe some sun. In the end Nero and I sat in the car on on our way to the fjord Skjomen. By the fjord and further up in the valley there was some places I wanted to explore. The first stop was a little mountain called Reinneset.

As often the weather can shift fast. On our way the sky got gradually covered with thin clouds without contrast. Quite boring, but as always, you never know what you get.

At the highest point there are great views in and out of the fjord.

The light was not what i hoped for but the trip on the peak was still worth it even flat light and wind.

The view into the fjord. Last year I was here late in the evening/night watching for the northern light. I was lucky and got some picture of the show as you can see in these post: Northern light in Northern Norway.

Hey, are you doing something interesting, food... or something..

...boring, only a little snow and grass. I move on.

View out the fjord with different perspectives, you can also see the snow drift in the strong wind.
