No les conté nada sobre mi viaje a Mérida, porque creo es de mala suerte, pero llegó el momento de relatarles todas mis experiencias, viví muchas cosas y tome muchas fotografías, tenía tiempo sin escribir porque me estaba preparando mentalmente, espiritualmente y financieramente para viajar, hoy regrese de Mérida, Yucatán, México y les puedo contar que fue uno de esos viajes que nunca voy a olvidar. Mi vuelo salió la semana pasada en la madrugada, llegando dormí como 4 horas para el domingo visitar Chichén itzá.

I did not tell you anything about my trip to Merida, because I think it is bad luck, but the time has come to tell you all my experiences, I lived many things and took many pictures, I had some time without writing because I was preparing myself mentally, spiritually and financially to travel, today I returned from Merida, Yucatan, Mexico and I can tell you that it was one of those trips that I will never forget. My flight left last week at dawn, arriving I slept about 4 hours to visit Chichen itza on Sunday.

El domingo me levanté muy temprano de la cama para ir a visitar una de las 7 maravillas del mundo moderno como lo es Chichén itzá, para llegar ahi fue una travesía muy interesante porque tuve que subir al autobús ADO y fueron 2 horas de ida y vuelta de camino, un recorrido muy largo, pero valio la pena cada segundo. Este sitio arqueológico que se encuentra entre la selva de Mérida, Yucatán, fue mayormente hogar de la civilización maya una cultura muy importante e imponente. El lugar está muy grande, se siente una energía de tranquilidad y ver la pirámide de Kukulcán es una cosa que te deja impactado, en el lugar también existen algunos cenotes que fueron sagrados para la cultura maya, también ví el juego de pelota y muchos puestos de artesanías locales.

On Sunday I got out of bed very early to go visit one of the 7 wonders of the modern world as is Chichen itza, to get there was a very interesting journey because I had to get on the ADO bus and it was 2 hours round trip, a very long journey, but it was worth every second. This archaeological site located in the jungle of Merida, Yucatan, was mostly home to the Mayan civilization, a very important and imposing culture. The place is very big, you feel an energy of tranquility and see the pyramid of Kukulcan is one thing that leaves you shocked, in the place there are also some cenotes that were sacred to the Mayan culture, I also saw the ball game and many local craft stalls.

Por un momento sientes que regresas a esa época y te imaginas cómo los mayas construyeron todo este magno lugar, recomiendo ir preparado con ropa muy cómoda, porque se camina mucho, ir temprano para aprovechar al máximo del lugar, desayunar o comer algo porque es muy cansado el recorrido. El domingo la entrada es gratuita para las personas de México. Lo que más me impacto fueron los cenotes sagrados porque los mayas los usaban para realizar ofrendas y sacrificios humanos.

For a moment you feel like you are going back to that time and you imagine how the Mayas built all this great place, I recommend to go prepared with comfortable clothes, because you walk a lot, go early to make the most of the place, have breakfast or eat something because the tour is very tiring. On Sunday the entrance is free for people from Mexico. What impacted me the most were the sacred cenotes because the Mayas used them to make offerings and human sacrifices.
