RE: FYI: "Trending" algorithm is a product of Steemit INC
- Steem was fairly decentralized besides the Steemit inc 21% stake.
- In absolute numbers maybe it's 1% of the 1 million accounts. But there is a vast number of dolphins and orcas on the chain that has much more stake than all the whales combined.
- Now without steemit inc it is pretty close to being a well decentralized system compared to any other decentralized system out there and especially compared to Steem.
- I do know that most of the steem problems are now hive problems. But with steemit inc gone, the community now has the responsibility and ability to fix them.
2+3: There are a lot of things going on you don't see when you don't participate. There are a lot of people working to make hive better and succeed.
2+3 The same people who failed to make Steem better, without the presence of Justin Sun? You have no idea how deep HIVE's problems will become!!!
To be fair, with steemit having control over this there was no real way for the community to take over. Now the community HAS to take over or they are their own demise. As far as I am seeing things progress I'm positive. Much more positive than for steem for sure. There is nothing left here.
