HOW TO MAKE YUMMY CAKES

A cake is a form of sweet food made from sugar, flour and other ingredients like milk, eggs, butter, oil or margarine, a liquid , leavening agent such as baking soda and baking powder. According to the food historians, the ancient Egyptians were the first culture to show the evidence of advanced baking skills.

There are different types of cakes which include; lemon cake, black forest cake, vanilla cake, cheese cake, pineapple upside down cake, chocolate cake, strawberry cake and many others.

Some of the methods one can bake a cake include the following, creaming method,all in one method ,melting method,whisking method,rubbing method. The creaming method is one of the most technically used. In this method , butter and sugar are beaten together using grease untill the mix turns pale and creamy. Then after the eggs added followed by dry ingredients.

All in one method , this method is used by those who want to save on washing up. All the ingredients are put in the bowl together and mixed in few minutes .its as simple as weighing out the ingredients , mixing them together and baking them.

Melting method, during this method butter is melted before the eggs and then the dry ingredients are added like baking powder that is used to raise the cake. This method tends to yield moister and denser cakes like a rich chocolate cake.

Rubbing method, this is the easiest method for baking a cake, the fat is rubbed in to the flour using the finger tips lightly. The sugar is added followed by milk.
