As per my thinking both are important in different terms if you have money you get good education and financial knowledge so that you can help your family and give them a good life.
I think this is relative, I have known people who are born into wealthy families, receive a great education in academic terms, but end up having very bad economic management, while people with low level of education generate large amounts of money.
