The Role of Media in Society and responsible of the people for whom media personals risk their lives.

in Project HOPElast month

Greetings friends!

Media, whether it is print, television, or social, has a significant influence on people, shaping their minds and helping to form their opinions about the world and its affairs. We receive all kinds of information through media, making it an integral part of our society and daily life.

We rely on media to stay informed about political, social, and economic affairs. Accurate information can protect us from disaster, while incorrect or manipulative news and views can harm our society and lives immensely.

Unfortunately, in the modern world, media is often corrupt as it is controlled by governments and/or powerful individuals. Fake news can divide people, leading to their easy manipulation and destruction. Media can portray victims as perpetrators and vice versa. It plays with our emotions, flooding our minds with junk information, thus preventing us from focusing and making us susceptible to the propaganda of the powerful and corrupt.

Since media is controlled by the rich and powerful, media personnel often have to work for their interests. They are also human beings like others, who have the same virtues and vices as others have. They gather information at great personal risk. Every year, many reporters are killed by corrupt individuals. The very people they risk their lives for often do not support them. Therefore, it is unfair to label media persons as corrupt unless we stand up for their security, liberty, and independence.

No one can save people who do not recognize the value of life, dignity, and independence. This is a fundamental truth of life.

Thank you!

Media has helped some people and at the same time, marred the lives of others, we have to be careful and sensitive about its usage.

Yes indeed. However, media persons are also human beings. They risk their lives but when any tragedy happens with them, common people don't protest for them. That is why no one cares for common people's interests.
