Do you want to launch your private website? Do it soon. Cryptocurrencies are popular but transactions, too expensive. Natural gas was the winner in June, July, jumping 56 percent from the bottom. Real estate considered to be crisis-resistant doesn’t respond as well to the crisis as precious metals.

Precious metals were moving in a strong bull market in July but the real winner was the US natural gas price. Real-estate investments are struggling to stay in positive territories, are clearly underperforming stock markets. (Even the old-style S&P 500.) Despite inflationary risks and some investors searching for safe-haven assets. If you are planning to make your private blog or website, read my post about SEO traps and problems.

Cryptocurrency-summer lifted transaction fees so much, that some people, especially in developing countries can’t pay it anymore. Will cryptocurrencies also be the game of the rich?

This is my weekly (or bi-weekly) post recommendation for you with a few new publications. I started a project on my financial web page, Ageless Finance, publishing now “charts of the day” and list posts, but also larger, comprehensive articles about personal finance and investing themes. If you are interested in the topics, lists, or the charts, just click on the images.

Cryptocurrency Fees Skyrocketed

Now, everyone is celebrating the 12,000 dollar Bitcoin and the recent Ether (Ethereum) price race. But I must spoil the party.

  • The cryptocurrency fees are very high today compared with earlier times.
  • The original idea of cheap and quick international transactions is not working.
  • People in developing countries can’t pay 6 USD for a transaction.
  • Cryptocurrencies may lag Fintech apps and some cheap online banks.
  • Smart contracts also need transfers.

5 Heavy Blogging SEO Errors I Made and You Shouldn’t

Blogging is one of the most popular methods to gain passive income. And SEO (search engine optimization), the traffic coming from search engines, is important part of it. It’s painful today to see some heavy SEO blogging errors I made. (And the low click-rate I’m still reaching by Google searches.)

  • I made some serious blogging SEO errors in the last months.
  • For example, I didn’t choose a niche and main keywords.
  • I have no useful keywords in the domain name.
  • I suppose I must create more specific blogs.

Spectacular Explosion in Natural Gas Price–Charts

One of the most spectacular price movements in the commodity markets this year. The US natural gas price jumped 17 percent in a single day. Earlier, the end of June, the price hit a new low at 1.432 dollars–not seen for approximately 25 years. Then, it skyrocketed further to $2.238 on Friday. That is 56% higher than the June low.

  • Natural gas price exploded in recent weeks.
  • It is 56 percent higher than on the bottom.
  • Is it cheap or expensive? A buy or a sell?
  • Two alternatives are 12 months ETFs and energy stock ETFs.

Should I Invest in Stocks or Real Estate?–Charts

Should we invest in stocks or real estate, gold, or other assets?–this is an evergreen investing question. But under this year’s extraordinary circumstances, the decision may be more important. Some people are looking for tangible, real assets, physical investments, inflation hedges. Other people buy shares of strong online businesses, “quarantine stocks”.

  • We should invest in stocks or real estate, precious metals to fight inflation and the crisis.
  • In the past 25, 80, or 150 years, stocks over-performed real estate.
  • In the last 12 months, too.
  • Overweight stocks if you can take higher risks.
