Having More Empathy As A Businessman

in Project HOPE3 years ago

It's a difficult world, no doubt, and you really want to make ends meet so that you can take good care of the people that matter to you in your life. But if you come into the business world with greed, and cruelty, just looking out for you and you alone; it wouldn't be long before you find yourself in a tight corner that might be difficult to get out from.

Sometimes, life experiences has taught us that it's a jungle world, and sometimes it's either kill or be killed. But in business, it's a different ball game. What you want to do is to be coming from a superior standpoint or view. And making sure that you defeat your oppositions or competitors not by acting with force, but by being smarter and providing better services to your customers.

It's more like a subtle warfare. You don't act with brute, but intelligence and kindness. That will bring more success to your way than anything else. Just take a good look at the biggest businesses and companies that you know of, they all work enormously to see that their services or goods are of far better quality. That's how the battle is won.

If you have intellectual properties, be smart enough to get your rights and protect them, such that no one can steal them from you. And if for any reason someone else steals your work, you shouldn't be acting with rage, but coming from the angle that it was first your irresponsibility that led to it been stolen in the first place.

If you had properly done the right things to protect them, then you wouldn't be in such a position at all. And if you feel that you need to resolve an issue that is bothering you, then take it up the right way, perhaps settle it out in court. You have to function from the perspective of empathy, if you want to achieve real success as a businessperson.

I can't deny that sometimes, some people may really push your emotions to the wall, and you may want to lose your composure and empathy. But I'll tell you this truth, it's not worth it. There are more efficient ways to show that you're unhappy with the way things are, by taking actions intelligently. Love and empathy have always been powerful. Make your products with love for the consumers, do your services with love for your customers; and your business will grow consistently.

Thanks for taking time to read!

Hello @devoteman!
Empathy should be practiced in all areas of our life, it will allow us to keep in harmony with others so it will be easier to solve any problem for the good of all and achieve what we propose. Greetings!

It is true, rendering services with love and empathy will make it easier to get into the heart of customers and that is what you need to set your business in a good stand.

Greetings @ devoto. It is very true this phrase that you mention "I can't deny that sometimes, some people can really push your emotions to the wall and you may want to lose your composure and empathy. However, empathy and good manners should be present in a company, those elements are important and they bring more customers, making it more profitable.
Thank you very much for sharing.

Greetings @devotedman, beyond the success or power that we can exercise in our society I consider humility must prevail over all things and this ability is a sign of intelligence that is reflected in our behavior. Thank you for your contribution
