What do you see in the future of Steem?
Since I met the Steem Blockchain and the Steemit network until now I am in love with this blockchain, for the things it has given me and for what it represents for many at the level of learning and skills development beyond the current price of the token, for many of those who experienced the historical maximum in Steem prices, it is a disappointment what we live now.
It is valid to wonder if this cryptocurrency has already made its final correction and will always fluctuate between 0.20 and 0.25 or can we expect more; Right now some things are happening that in my opinion are interesting movements that can affect the ecosystem in a positive way.
Historical background.
For some time, all of us on the platform have been waiting for things to happen and to establish developments that have a positive impact on Steem prices, this is how we were all waiting for the launch of the communities in Steemit, SMT and the acquisition of Steemit.inc arrived by @justinsunsteemit.
This acquisition unleashed controversy and an unexpected conflict that led to the division of the chain creating uncertainty about the future of Steem; Although it was a very confusing moment, all the turbulence generated by this conflict, I think that it is already over and that we are approaching the best days of Steem.
Although some decided to leave, abandon ship, shut down and move to another chain, many of us have maintained confidence in the potential of Steem and we thought that after the arrival of @justinsunsteemit, it was only a matter of time before we began to see projects on the horizon , alliances and developments that push this ship in a better direction, where we can see Steem in a position that equals or exceeds its all-time high, that's why we decided to stay and help.
The good news.
A few days ago I started following some posts from @shortsegments and I honestly think that they are good news for the Steem ecosystem and the Tron chain; In recent months DEFI has made a lot of noise in the Blockchain environment and has become the sensation of the moment.
As @shortsegments explains in his articles, the Steem-Tron-Just Swap combination promises to be a DEFI alternative that will compete with advantage against the DEFI alternative based on the Ethereum (ETH) chain, due to its low cost and higher speed in transactions.
@shortsegments also mentions the fact that we will soon have the opportunity to store Tron in our Steem wallet.
Another good news (If I understood correctly) is that we can use both Tron and Steem to add liquidity in this DEFI system, which gives us the opportunity to access the credit system using our Steem or Tron coins, participate in the benefits to cover our daily expenses without having to sell our Steem or Tron.

I am really curious to see where this will go, but it is clear that getting liquidity into the platform and the community, and also with the Tron community getting into the game and becoming a part of a bigger "world", I can clearly see that it has potential.
I guess a lot will depend on whether or not Justin Sun acquired Steem to "milk the cow", or if he actually wants to use the platform to build it and make it way stronger and bigger.
There are lots of enthusiastic Steem users, so if we can build the platform as a communicate, and also see that the leadership and owners actually lead the platform with passion and a vision, then this can turn into something even more awesome!

I think that if Justin is trying to integrate steemit into projects like this, he surely has plans to strengthen the coin and the platform.
Yes.
Best case: Tron propells Steemit into the public's eyes as the premier own-your-content sight for the masses.
Worst (successful) case: Steemit becomes the PR arm of Tron as Tron becomes one of the few major blockchains that shapes the new decentralized Internet.
Worst (fail) case: crypto is banned, or its direct monetary influence, throughout the world.
As long as Tron and Steemit developers stay true to at least a decent project, we will continue to reap reward over the next few years. Hard to predict after that, but first mover advantage and the leverage of Tron is advantageous atm.
Something like an institutionally backed Facebook Libra could derail what we are doing here. But, that should be a couple years away.

The truth would be great to return to that golden age that many lived with steemit but nevertheless we must be grateful to be on this platform and to be able to receive the help that we have. Correct, we should be grateful for everything that this platform gives us, however, I think that all this movement can bring us an improvement in the economy of this platform and positively affect prices. It's just my thought but I'm optimistic.

There is an u going hype about Tron and steem recently as a result of this project, I am thinking of investing some of the little money I have in Tron but I am also scared of what the outcome might be, really skeptical about the whole thing.

i would like to add just that these predictions are uncertain, you can invest and still not be 100%sure if they are gonna stay vital for long or not.
Not even you can decide the time period for the vulnerability of the steem and tron prices.
It is all on luck when it comes to investing in the crypto currency ( this is what i believe ) :)
