Sacrifices people make to attain success.
There is a category of people we call the Igbo over here in Nigeria, when it comes to getting wealthy through business, just leave it for this tribe, they are well-known for that. An Igbo man could start a business with a little store and within the space of one year they are expanding and taking over the entire town, I am always amazed at the speed of their success, and because I really love to see how it is that they grow with so much speed I decided to get close to them and what I found out was really amazing and inspiring, following these principles they often follow, there is no way they will not be able to attain success.
The absolute truth about life is that we have to sacrifice something to get something, at some point we are programmed to get a job, earn an income, and then spend and retire, while this is viewed as a norm, the reality of this life is that the models of life come with challenges along the way. There are people who graduate from school with excellent grades but still fail to get the job required to go through the pattern of this lifestyle. Let me quickly take you through the needed sacrifice that is being made by these Igbo men;

They deny themselves luxury: I learned from some set of Igbo businessmen that they will decide not to have food until they have sold something for the day, you will not see an Igbo businessman wearing expensive cloth or driving an expensive car when his shop is half-full, he will first consider the growth of his business and at the point when he has grown well enough, he takes out of his profit to enjoy luxury, but he will never touch his capital to enjoy luxury.
This boils down to limiting our spending habits to a budget, there is no magic about these things, if you are unable to control your spending habit, regardless of how much you earn, you will spend all of it away. It has become very common for people to complain about their income, but the truth is a lot of people are not optimizing their spending.

- Forget your wishes and focus on your needs: Do you really need to purchase that luxury now? Stop enjoying when you spend and start feeling good when you save.
They build great connections: These groups of men are always ready to help one another, they loan each other money for the success of each other's business. Building connections with great minds is a path to success. They know how to respect one another and build each other up, making necessary sacrifices to get great connections is essential for financial growth, be more concerned about building connections with like-minds whom together you can lift each other rather than the ones who are only concerned about what they could get from you.
So, you could start from afar and just admire the level of business/financial growth of these men, but when you move close, you will be able to understand that sacrifices were being made in order to achieve what they have today.
No gain without pain, as the saying goes. You will always sacrifice something for something. Thanks for sharing!
I tell you buddy, thanks for reading.
Usually, there's always a trade off. You have to make sacrifices in order to reach your dreams. Nice piece!
Yes buddy, appreciate your time.
It's truly inspiring to hear how they have been able to achieve so much growth and financial success through their principles of sacrifice, budgeting, and building connections with like-minded individuals.
In fact building strong connections with others in your industry is an essential component of achieving success...
Thanks for sharing gbenga
Thanks for your time @salamdeen.
Hi dear friend @gbenga
It is a very interesting concept of the igbo man , I think I would spend to be an igbo man somehow I think you are right , of course life is about enjoyment and I don't want to overdo it and wait 10 years to enjoy one day of my life but the igbo philosophy undoubtedly leads to financial success .
god bless you
Of course, we need to learn to enjoy the moment (I don't joke with that when I can afford it), but we should learn how to flex with profits and not capital.
