Building "The Dreams"; What Brings The "Need For Change"?

in Project HOPE4 years ago

Funding dreams to become a reality is often or somewhat of a huge challenge. The reason why we often call it a dream; is because it's an a near futuristic event which we would like to become our reality. While I was growing up I had earlier envisaged that I would go to school, graduate early and of course become an engineer or pilot.

But then this is just the plot; a lot of people do not calculate the stumbling blocks they'll encounter in the quest to achieving these dreams. Most times we often change our notion, chose more realistic ventures, embrace what is currently working simply because we cannot wait for what isn't working. Money and time works hand in hand when people are trying to nurture their dream.

The right environment is also another thing; sometimes we need the right environment to often form the right ideas or continue holding on to the dreams we have had from time. Now the right conditions can come in terms of a good parenting, exposure to good values like perseverance and patience without these people tend to lose hope on their dreams especially when the reality of growing up hits them.

When people are younger they're not responsible to anything, but while adolescence and teenage sets in, this is when they are pressured to live right, follow a right path, trying to stay immune to youthful exuberance and understanding the need to put futuristic goals in plan sight in whatever actions they'll take.

One of the reasons why goals and dreams change when young children becomes teenagers is because teen age is challenging, it is a time when people can lose their identity or find their identity, it is a time when their actions can influence their future, peer pressure is often rampant at this period and this is when new cravings begins to set in.

This is what eventually changes in teenagers. Sometimes it could be that teen age can become a period of realisation; sometimes being childish and young makes you unaware of the economic capabilities of your parent, you don't see the imperfections or the flaws in your dreams, infact you can't guage who you are with the dream you're trying to build.

The fact that we have a dream doesn't mean that dream can be right for us. A lot of times our inability to self valuate ourselves, know our worth, our strength and capacities is why we often chose an unrealistic dreams and have verbose expectations at a younger stage in our lives.

Truth is, sometimes the only way we truly move forward is by taking charge of our present and helping it reform our future. Sometimes the future is when we chose it to be, a lot of people have different timelines and when we embrace realistic ventures to take care of "the now", it means we're choosing to become better equipped in building "our dreams" which is totally becoming elusive. First of all the most important thing is self valuation and a realistic moment of realisation.

Change is constant and sometimes these change is often brought about by circumstances. Life isn't a bed of roses, sometimes when we plan we leave some important aspects that might be a huge challenge to these plans and this is why we're more ill prepared more than we're actually prepared.

Brings dreams to become realities isn't easy, sometimes we have to acknowledge this to understand that we need more caution. Sometimes we need a "win" to keep chasing, when we work towards the little "wins" it prepares us for the bigger challenges when we're trying to stay in line with the dreams we're trying to build.

Hello @josediccus 💕😊🙌

The right environment is also another thing; sometimes we need the right environment to often form the right ideas or continue holding on to the dreams we have had from time. Now the right conditions can come in terms of a good parenting, exposure to good values like perseverance and patience without these people tend to lose hope on their dreams especially when the reality of growing up hits them.

I think you are absolutely right about this because Shiv Khera also made mention of environment being one of the greatest factor that can impact and influence man's life to changes.

Thanks for sharing this great post with love from @hardaeborla and I hope you have a great day ahead ❤️💕❤️♥️

I was not brought up in the right environment, this influenced me a whole lot and it was not until I got older that I became better, choosing the kind of environment I needed to thrive for myself. Thank you for stopping by.

Hello @josediccus
You have touched on a very important topic, and a very real one. Immaturity can make that at some point you can not contemplate all the nuances that must be considered in any life plan, I think it is a reality.Very consta you this. Not everyone, actually I think very few fulfill that dream they had as children, at least that they wanted to be (pilot, astronaut, doctor, etc), and that's partly why, you don't consider the full reality of your environment.

A lot of dreams will have been achieve assuming there is the right environment to back it up. Quite pathetic its not enough to have dream but also to have the right requirements to back it up the dreams

It's definitely not enough to have dreams as more requires it to become reality

I really liked reading this post, I agree that building dreams is complicated, many times as you say we do not take into account the obstacles and this can make us change our mind about pursuing that dream. Excellent post, thank you very much for sharing.
