Entering the era of immersive wearable technologies

Advances in different fields of nanotechnology and artificial intelligence have gradually led us to a reality where dependence on the devices that possess them has become indispensable and it is almost impossible for most people to live without them.
Experts have dubbed this era as the era of immersive portable technologies, and more and more people end up living in an alternative reality or being slaves to the comfort that these devices offer.
The cell phone has already displaced many conventional devices and with it it is possible to do tasks that we could not imagine 50 years ago, besides almost all household appliances are now smart and every day we seem to refresh a chapter of the series of the 60's, the supersonic.
Added to this, this year began the massification of virtual reality and augmented reality and thousands of thousands of people now have a double life, something like what happened in the famous movie Avatar, where they can be from simple mortals to superheroes fighting against supernatural entities.
The long-awaited era of the robot ended up being a utopia and although they are also part of our daily lives and are indispensable in the industry, they have not had as much impact on the minds of humans as these inventions that, as their name suggests, create immersion in them.
As advances in the fields of connectivity, processing power or ergonomics appear, integration in experiences will become more fluid and holograms, to give an example, will be one of the immersive options.
Infinity is the limit and the future world is envisioned with a passive humanity, which will be able to study, work and perform infinite tasks that still seem impossible today from their homes.

I believe that we are a few years away from living what today is considered science fiction movies, I believe that the world will change in an unimaginable way thanks to this technology.

I think that nowadays, and with the pandemic, many of our routines changed and that was the breaking point for many people who were denied the use of technology for many of the things that were part of their daily lives. Today there are millions of people who prefer to study from home or simply update their knowledge, but making use of platforms and technologies, for example, we even have virtual medical consultations and stop counting. I have always wondered where all this will lead us to? Because today we are able to interact through the networks but in person we are not able to hold a conversation with someone for more than 10 minutes.
We are absorbed by immersive technology and most of us do not realize it, as I said in the post, we are moving towards a passive humanity and the pixar movie Wall-e with the ship full of obese people comes to mind.

Majority of the things we see in movies and tag impossible is gradually coming into reality, we are moving towards an era of complete change and serious technological advancement.
That's true, science fiction is no longer the second thing to be reality and soon fantasy will be too.
Automation and miniaturization technologies are both incredible. We currently wear many utilities and I wonder what next we'll be able to simply 'put on'
