Important points in the creation of content in Project Hope and Steemit in general 🚧
A big greeting to all the members of Project Hope, to all of us who make life here. This is a very important publication, since with it I try to guide users, and from this moment on they avoid making certain mistakes that could make their stay on the platform somewhat uncomfortable.
For a long time I have been doing work within Project Hope with the intention of counteracting users who plagiarize, knowing well that it is not a good practice at all. Luckily, this situation has been minimized, but since technology never stops, IT ALWAYS ADVANCES, a great tool based on Artificial Intelligence has emerged such as ChatGPT and many others.
We know well that they are tools that facilitate many processes, for that they have been created, but, it is necessary to have something present, the Proof Of Brain (POB) is something valued on this platform, therefore, Posting content that is 100% AI-powered and passing it off as your own is being considered the equivalent of PLAGARISM.
Just as there are tools that are used to Scan publications for Plagiarism, there are also some that have been created to detect whether or not the texts are created in AI. Here I will leave some links of these:

Being, of course, some more effective than others. But that used in combination can give a large percentage of accuracy in detection. I have recently been speaking with @crypto.piotr, Founder of this community, raising this new reality, and the need to keep ourselves free from this type of abuse, given that there is a team, in this case STEEM Watcher led by the friend @rex-sumon, who is doing a great job not only in the fight against plagiarism but against this type of abuse.
Therefore, it is necessary that all regular users of Project Hope (and of Steemit in general) keep this in mind.
From now on, posts will be reviewed not only for possible plagiarism but also for exclusive use of AI for content generation. Thus highlighting the importance that what you share here is created by you.
I take the opportunity to highlight that it is important to always use images without copyright, you can use image banks such as Pixabay or Pexels, where you can find millions of free images, or also, use images of your authorship, always placing the source from the same.
It is also important that you consider placing sources if you take any paragraph, data, statistics, or any type of information from an external page, with the intention of giving due recognition to the author.
Dear @josevas217
I cannot stress enough how concerned I am about issue of AI content creation. I'm glad to learn that there are tools allowing to determine probability that content is original or created by advanced bot/AI.
It seem to be crutial for all of project.hope members to understand that such a content is worth not more than plagiarized posts. And as such is not welcomed in our community.
Trying to determine whos posts are genetic and robotic may be a challenging task, but I hope that with help of our PH leaders we will be able to reduce amount of it in Project.hope.
Thank you very much for the comment. And yes, indeed, it is important that users know that submitting a publication exclusively written by AI is similar to plagiarism, and that it incurs a similar offense.
Hlo josevas support me
Greetings friend @josevas217, excellent your publication this allows us to always know that technology helps us to many things but also hurts us for others. The tools you share to detect content developed with AI will be very useful for the community.
Hi @josevas217.
Excellent the points you have mentioned in this article, actually I see convenient this kind of work to value the contribution we make with our own qualities, thanks for sharing this information, greetings.
Good day to all
Thanks for sharing this amazing information. I always write my post by own. Whoever do copy paste are not good for any blogging site. Still i never used chatgpt. Chat gpt is good and bad chances are 50/50. Main thing is how people use it. Btw you shared few tools for plagiarism check. Thats a good job.
Ever since I first heard about ChatGPT, it came to my mind the idea of creating content by abusers to post as their own...and I must admit I didn't expect to have useful tools to detect this kind of practice. At some point, I thought it was impossible for content creators (especially written content creators like us at Steemit) to make a living anymore.
You presented amazing tools to address a hot topic. There might be some issues in their accuracy, but I believe we will be able to use technology to fight back against those who use it to their advantage
Thanks for taking the time to write this important publication @josevas217
Resteemed :)
This is a hot topic these days where people use ai tools like chat GPT to generate content but we need to understand that chat gpt picks the information from internet so its not unique. Steemit is a platform where unique content is the requirement so using AI to write is not the right way. This is definitely not fair and people who use it should be dealth in proper way. Thanks for the update buddy
Excellent post and excellent discussions on the post. I've been away for a while working on a personal project but came back to steemit to better understand how large scale language models (LLMs) like chat-GPT may be impacting steemit. You can learn more about some of my thoughts here. One fascinating point I take from your write up is that 100% using of chat-GPT is bad, but what of 99%, 70%? Where does it stop? I'm really curious about how project.hope, steemit and the world in general will evolve in the era of chat-GPT and can't wait for some of these questions to be answered. However, if you are as curious as I am on this subject and want to debate these in some form, I'll be both glad and honored to be your sparring partner!
This is great for the platform. The writing as a ct is slowly dying as AI could do it all and people are exploiting this
Yes, it is valid to use IS, I do not question it, but for other platforms, here the ideal is to create our own content.
i agree to this too
hi dear friend @josevas217
I think it is good to check the content, PH is a solid community that has a long time working and tools like GPT chat can always spoil the hard work, I think the best thing for any author is to rest if you do not have any idea to publish.
god bless you
Is that the best option, with nothing there is to write, why the mind is exhausted, which can happen, better to stay away and come back when we are in a better disposition.
Thank you for this important information, i will be now checking with the AI checker also and plagiarism check,
And will help in the growth of the platform.
Thank you to you. Have a nice week end
