Let's keep in mind that there is always risk in every project
Hello Project HOPE friends, I hope you are all doing well. Today I want to talk to you about something that, although it seems obvious, we sometimes miss: in every project there are always risks. It is something that may sound heavy or even discouraging, but in reality it is an invitation to reflect and prepare ourselves better.
A few days ago I was talking to a friend who is starting a new business. He told me that at first everything seemed to be going smoothly, but then unforeseen events arose that he had not considered. Nothing out of this world, but things that made him wobble a little, and that left me thinking. The thing is that many times, when we start something new, we get carried away with enthusiasm —which is great—, but maybe we forget that not everything will be rosy.
It's like when you learn to ride a bicycle, right? At first you think it will be easy, but as you lose your balance and fall a couple of times, you understand that the process requires patience and being prepared for some scrapes. That's how projects are too. It doesn't matter if it's a business, a trip you're planning, or even something more personal like starting a new exercise routine: there will always be something that doesn't go the way you expect.
The important thing here is not to avoid risk—because that is impossible—but to accept it as part of the process. It's like a reminder that if something is worth it, it also takes effort, and that includes dealing with the unexpected. I, personally, prefer that to being left wanting to try it.
In the end, every fall leaves us a lesson, and every risk we take brings us a little closer to what we are looking for. So, if you are in the middle of something and you come across those stones in the road, don't be discouraged. Better think that they are part of the journey, because without them, what story would you have to tell later?
I say goodbye for now. May this week bring you learning, even if it comes disguised as challenges. May everyone be very well.

You are right, there is risk in every project, but we also have to use our wisdom.
