Let´s talk about Steem Power Delegations
Greetings Project Hope friends, I hope you are all having a great week. Today I want to talk about an important aspect of this platform such as Steem Power and something in particular that we can do with it such as delegation.
We have all seen how a great voting power gives us more influence on the platform, that's what it's all about. Because basically voting power is what allows us to leave gains to other users when we give them a vote. This is why a good voting power is of vital importance for a community to support the users that make life in it.
A good way to build a solid community account, beyond the growth that it has by itself, is through the delegation of Steem Power by the users that make life in it, or why not?, of all those who wish to support it in its growth.
For those who do not know exactly what the Steem Power delegation consists of, it consists of transferring part of your power to another account, but as a "Loan ", which is always yours, only that you make a concession when you transfer it to another account, but at the moment you decide you can have it back, since it always belongs to you. It is a very safe way to support other accounts.
In my case, as you can see in the following image, I have a delegation of 7,000 SteemPower to the @project.hope, as well as me, other users have done the same, that is why the account is reaching 300,000 SteemPower.
You may be wondering how to do it, possibly, and it's actually a very easy process. Go below and I'll show you step by step how it's done. The first thing is to go to the page steemworld.org.
1 Then you will go to the delegations section.
2 Immediately click on delegate, and a small window will open.
Note: in the following link, just change my username, @josevas217, for your own.https://steemworld.org/@josevas217.
And here you are a few steps away from completing a delegation:
3 Here you must enter the amount of Steem Power you are going to delegate, and the account you are going to delegate to. Click OK.
4 You will be asked if you agree with the data provided. Click on YES.
5 You will be asked if you will sign the transaction with Steem Key Chain, I particularly say NO.
6 And finally, you will be required to enter the active key to sign the transaction. And then click ok, and that's it, the delegation is executed.

This way a delegation to the @project.hope account, or to any other account, is done very quickly, and we can all add more power to the receiving account.
Hi @josevas217
Great and easy to understand explanation. Idea of delegating SP is something that confused me at the very beginning of my journey here on Steemit and it surely is quite confusing for many newbies.
Delegating Steem Power is great "bridge" between those who are looking to increase their own voting power and those who do not care (or perhaps don't have time) to carry on with daily manual curation. Most projects and communities are happy to pay dividents to those who delegate their SP, so it is a solid way of ensuring ourselfs passive income.
Resteemed and upvoted already :)
Cheers, Piotr
One more thing.
Those who would like to delegate their SP do not need to use steemworld.org to do it. They can as well delegate SP by opening direct link. Example:
https://steemlogin.com/sign/delegateVestingShares?delegatee=project.hope&vesting_shares=1000%20SP
Clicking this link will allow us to delegate 1000 SP to @project.hope account
Hi @crypto.piotr! Special squad of highly trained hamsters prepared this delegation link for you:
steemconnect 1000.0 SP delegation to @project.hope.
I like that sentence, it condenses very well part of what can be done with the delegations as a whole.
I was totaly lost when i first started 2 days ago i didn't Know what it is
