Life Issues With Ore Debby ■ 34 ~ FOCUS & CONSISTENCY

in Project HOPElast year

Hello beautiful people. Hope you're doing amazing today. Lets talk about Focus and Consistency today. First, let me say this...

It's not all about talent. It's about dependability, consistency, and being able to improve. If you work hard and you're coachable, and you understand what you need to do, you can improve.
~Bill Belichick

David had five stones when he advanced against Goliath, but he only used one, and that was the stone of FOCUS. If the first stone had missed, he wouldn't have had time to sling another stone, the stone becomes irrelevant because he didn't win because of the stone, he won because of his focus and consistency in preparation and perfection.

He had perfected his aim so much that all he needed was the first stone. Regardless of his skill, strength and robust CV, he advanced against the giant in the name of the Lord with whom he had won successive victories against dreadful foes like the lion and the bear.

You would agree with me that he wasn't a seasoned warrior compared to Saul, Jonathan and Abner, but you see, he had something called Focus and Consistency. His had been tried in the backside of the wilderness. His had been perfected during the years when it felt like he had been ostracized by his family.

For a reign that would last 40 years with 66 recorded victories in battle, King David had to spend time apart from the rest of the world perfecting his focus, his skill, knowing his strengths and building on it.

This is the catch...

When it seems to be a long shot from your dreams, you must resolve to take the time and perfect your aim.

In our journey of life, consistency plays a pivotal role. It's the steady heartbeat that keeps us connected to God and helps us grow spiritually. Think of it this way: just as a river keeps flowing and shapes the land it passes through; our consistent devotion molds our character and makes our relationship with God and humans stronger.

And here's the thing, being consistent in our walk with God isn't about being perfect alone. It's really about being persistently consistent and focused.

We all have to start somewhere, and doing something is better than nothing at all. Start small so you don't get discouraged and give up. Remember it is all about consistency.
~Khloe Kardashian

It's about taking time every day to pray, read God's Word, and try our best to live by it. These might seem like small steps, but can lead to big changes in our lives. But consistency doesn't stop there. It's like having a game plan that helps us stay committed to our goals. It adds some structure and discipline to our daily lives and this way, we can focus on what really matters and be better prepared for any surprises life throws our way.

Let us always commit to consistency in our journey with God and in chasing your dreams. Let it be the driving force that brings you closer to the divine and pushes you towards a purposeful and fulfilling life.

Excellently written. Consistency is one of the vital requirements to achieve greatness in life. This reminds me of what a friend once said; "no tree grows by moving from one place to another."

Nice piece.

Consistency is quite key when it comes to achieving our set goals. Thanks very much Sammy
