ENGAGEMENT WITHIN THE PH COMMUNITY

obraz.png

Before I get to the main point of this topic, I would like to thank all those of you who are an active and engaging part of our community. You are the reason why PH is growing and moving in the right direction.

After all, it is NOT POSSIBLE to build a community based on people who do not invest time to engage and to get to know others.

And a quiet community is not a community. At least not to me.

DO NOT WASTE TIME ON SPAMMERS

obraz.png

When we engage, we are often a part of valuable and interesting discussions. By doing so, we are investing our time and attention (limited resources) into consuming content published within PH.

And our time and attention have value.

However, I have noticed that an increasing number of spam is being published within our community. Many articles are posted by accounts with a fresh reputation (25 points) and with pretty much no SP. Those are often not even "real people" behind those accounts, and engaging with them is a waste of your valuable time.

MY SUGGESTION

Before you decide to engage and read a post published within PH by someone you do not recognize - just double check to see if this user is worth your time. Decide for yourself, and see if the person on the other end is someone who engages back, who reads comments, and most importantly someone who is actually human.

And most of all: IGNORE POSTS which are already MUTED.

I do my best to MUTE posts published by bots and spammers. We also fight plagiarism (which still does happen every now and then).

I'm extremely very surprised about the spam account posting within our community. I still wonder how they tend to own such a huge steem power. I think it's best if you probably set up few team or members to mute them all to avoid more of them posting within the community.

Thanks for sharing this great post with love from @hardaeborla and I hope you have a great day ahead ❤️💕❤️

Yeah, good advice @crypto.piotr. Makes me think of the Pareto principle. Where approximately 80% of “consequences come from 20% of the causes” - source.

In other words, people can waste 80% of their time on actions from 20% of people. So I agree, don't waste your time with people that don't engage. Especially if those people are assholes...hehe :)
