Inner Beauty Over Outward Beauty
In this present day world, a lot of people are so obsessed with their outward beauty and the way they appear and nothing else matters to them. In life, there are more things that you should prioritise than just the way you appear. What is the gain of looking so adorable, but when people get close to you, they will be repelled by your character? This is why I believe that the inner beauty holds even more importance than what can be seen on the outwards. Just to be clear, inner beauty cuts across a number of factors including your character, attitude, level of confidence, interpersonal skills, kindness, etc. When you focus on these, you will discover that beauty does not only lie on what you can see with your eyes.
There was a time, during my early days in the University, I joined a particular group where some freshers come today to take tutorials and also discuss vital things about academics. A few days after I joined, one young lady also joined. At first, she looked attractive that everyone would want to make her friends because of her beauty and of course, her accent. Everyone believed that she had a lot of things to offer. However, after a few days, her true character started to manifest. She felt that, because of her beauty, she would command attention at will and that the world would stop for her.
It got into her head and she talked to people the way they do not like and even in general discussions, she would try to make herself the main character and when she is not getting the attention, she would be so angry at everyone. It was not long and she started to fall out with the group members. What she thought was her strong point became repulsive to others and soon after, everyone got tired of her nasty attitude. Well, she did not stay up to a month and she left the group. When she left, one of my friends made a humorous comment, he said "having beauty without character is like a swimming pool without water, it will still be useless." This made me realise how important the inner beauty is, not just what you can see on the outside.
When life comes at you, you will understand that there are more things to life than what could be seen on the outside. It is true that taking care of your body is good, definitely it is good to appear good, but much more than that, your personality also matters because that is where the real beauty lies. Beauty may make you attractive and may draw people to you, but in order to sustain them around you, then you need a good character and high level interpersonal skills. When you start being around people, you will begin to look beyond how they appear and focus on who they really are.
You will agree with me that there are people that, when you see them, you may not even feel attracted to them at the first, but if you stay a while around them, their good character, their confidence level, good manner of approach, and their communication skills will begin to make them look more attractive. On the other hand, there are some others that, if you see them, you may immediately feel attracted to them, but after staying a while around them and being faced with their nasty attitude, you will find them unattractive and repulsive.
It is worthy to note that what makes the real you and what makes you who you are is your personality - which also determines how you relate to people. When relating with people for example, do they feel better and glad that they met you or do they regret ever crossing paths with you? What will matter at the end is not the beauty that fades, which is affected by the passage of time, but the beauty that endures times and seasons - your inner beauty. Outwards beauty, just like the flowers, may blossom in the spring, but as the seasons pass, and by the subsequent seasons, they may become affected by time. But inner beauty sticks around for a long while and this is what you should focus more to build on.

Inner beauty is very much important than the outward beauty. Quite a pity that a lot of people have priorities the outer beauty and then they are inner ugly which should not actually be so
That's right, well said. Thanks buddy
