The Diary Game |From Work to Play: A Day of Tasks, Treats, and Cricket
Hello friends, so let’s start today’s diary.
As soon as I woke up this morning, the first thing I did was check my mobile, and it was 8:30 am. I unlocked my phone and checked the notifications, which included some WhatsApp messages and a few Outlook emails. I read each email and then got out of bed and headed to the kitchen, where I made myself a herbal drink. After drinking it, I did some light exercises and then went to take a shower. Meanwhile, Ajay had already started preparing our breakfast of khichdi by placing all the ingredients on the stove.

We were all ready for office after taking a bath, and our lunch was also prepared. We ate it and then started our bikes and headed to the office.
Upon reaching the office, I greeted my colleagues with a good morning and then went to my desk to check my emails. A little while later, I opened WhatsApp and saw that today marked the completion of 8 months for my nephew, meaning he turned 8 months old. His mother had dressed him up beautifully for the occasion.

My brother-in-law shared his photo with me, and he looked extremely cute. I thought to myself that I must definitely share this in my diary.
Everyone went out for lunch after working for a while, but Ajay and I continued with our tasks since we had already eaten lunch earlier. However, in the evening, we started feeling a bit hungry, so we both went to the market. I ordered dhokla, which was extremely delicious and cost only ₹80. Ajay and I enjoyed the dhokla and then returned to the office.

We were working in the office when I got a call from my friend Parth. He mentioned that he was going to play cricket and invited us to join. I gladly agreed, saying that we would definitely come along to play.
At 9 PM, we headed to the cricket ground and played a match for about 2 hours. After playing after such a long time, it was evident that we were out of practice, and our skills weren’t what they used to be. But it also gave us a sense of how fit we currently are.

After the game, we decided what to have for dinner. Everyone suggested that it had been a long time since we had fafda-jalebi, so we agreed to have that.
We reached a shop and ordered 250g each of fafda and jalebi, which cost ₹350 in total. The four of us ate together and then started heading back to the office. Before returning, we stopped at an egg shop, where we ordered egg fry and another egg dish. After finishing, we went back to the office, picked up our laptops, and headed home.

Since it was already midnight, I reached home, used my mobile for a little while, and then went to bed.
