PEOPLE, PARENTS & LIFE

• PEOPLE AND YOU : Life is a beautiful combination of people and desires. You need certain people to fulfill your expectations and so are you required by someone to fulfill theirs. During this journey, you're going to encounter people with a different culture, background, mindset, intellect, and hobbies; each one unique in his/her own way! Not all are going to turn up as your friends but at the same time, you have the ability to at least transform themselves into your good companions. So, don't bind yourselves into a stereotype circle of few pre-selected people. Just set yourself free to explore the more number of people you've ever explored. With each single person comes the new set of energy that you might have been craving for long. Sometimes a few moments spent with a good companion can heal some disorder that cannot be healed with the world's finest medicines. So, take up this opportunity to interact and connect well with all, because I personally believe that adding 1 new true friend can be worth more than adding 100 new books in the bookshelf.

• PARENTS AND YOU : As soon as you step into the college days, you feel you're grown up.
Being a grown-up, however, is not an issue, but the issue lies in ignoring or cutting up parents' piece of advice and blindly implementing what you feel glittering! I've often come across to the complaint by many students of not having the right person to share their ups & downs of life. In my opinion, the parents are the one who knows you the most.

They are the only ones who know you even before you were born. They know what's right or wrong for you and generally are the only one who is not jealous of your success. Having parents as your best friend can be the best feeling ever! The one who already knows how your mood swings are probably the best companion to back you in your low times. Sometimes you feel they do not understand you, but trust me they already know what you're up to at even before you've thought on that part. I know "Generation Gap" does exist but at the same time, I also question haven't they felt this generation gap when they were young and you were just an infant. Surely they would have, but what mattered to them was the bond with you over and above the age. Moreover, as you're growing young, they're growing old too. So it's your turn now to take the steering in your hand from theirs and drive the best journey they could have ever expected from their little angel two decades back.

• LIFE AND YOU: The most unpredictable yet the most rewarding thing I've ever come across is 'LIFE'. As you'll explore different phases, life will show you different shades.
Initially, it's supportive just like some beginner's luck, then it tests you severely in the core part to check whether you're deserving to accept the rewards it is planning to offer you, and finally, if you stand still it sets all the pieces right in their place and you get much more than you would have ever expected. Sometimes you're too busy to achieve the goal you've set that you often miss to enjoy the process that makes you capable to realize the goal. Always remember, "Destination Excites, Journey Enlights"! So, live every moment of your life, enjoy the process, because down the memory lane this is something you're going to miss the most.
