Actually, I first learned to make flan from my mother. She made flan very deliciously when I was a child. That experience is still a nostalgic memory for me. She also joins me in making them.
The main job I get is to whisk the eggs. All the other work is done by the mother. I watched her doing all the work that is dangerous for a small child. Actually, I am now a mother of two kids. So, one of my favorite desserts that I make for my children now is flan.
There are different types of flan, but they like the flan made with condensed milk the most.
Also, my husband's most favorite dessert is flan. I have shared my flan recipe with my steemit friends before.
Today I did the specialty. Like my mother, I gave my daughter that experience today. Today is her first flan that she helped make. She loved that experience. I think the art of cooking is one of the best things that is lovingly passed down from generation to generation. It connects your oldest to us again and again.
✔️ Make a flan, you can follow the recipe given in the course or if you have another one that you have prepared you can share it, detailing utensils, ingredients and step by step.
- Wisk , beater or blender

- Eggs 03-04
- Condensed milk 570g
- water (3/4 milk tin)
- Vanila extract 1 tbl spoon
- suger 30g
- Butter 1 tea spoon
🍮️First of all, we have to prepare the caramel sugar syrup and for that we have to add sugar in a pan and heat it until it changes color.
Here we have to be very careful about the caramel syrup. If it is too caramelized, it will taste bitter.
After a while it turns golden and then add about 3 tablespoons of water and heat until bubbling.
🍮️ Then remove it from the stove and immediately pour it on the bottom of the mold and spread it well and keep it until it cools down.
🍮️ Then take a bowl and put eggs in it and beat it for about 2 minutes. Pour the condensed milk into another bowl. Then add one cup of water to the condensed milk in the same tin and mix it well.
🍮️ Then take the beaten egg and add it to the condensed milk bowl and mix it well. Then add vanilla and mix well again.
🍮️ Rub some butter around the mold and then take the mixture and pour it into the cooled mold.
I use steam to cook today. Otherwise, you can use the oven. Then steam the mold and close the lid. After the steam comes, steam well for about 20 minutes.
🍮️ The tip used to check if your flan is well made is to take a stick and poke it into the flan.
If the stick is dry, now your flan is ready. Then turn off the stove and let it rest for another 15 minutes.
🍮️ To flip this correctly, first take a knife and run it around the mold.
Then place your serving plate on top of the mold.Then immediately turn the other side.Slowly lift the mold.
The creamy flan that melts in your mouth is now ready.

No..I didn't have any problem while making it. Because I have made this dessert for my family many times before. This is the dessert that my husband makes the most in the months since he got off the ship.
So, I have practiced this dessert many times. So, the more we practice the same thing, the more we can become experts in it. So I can make this dessert very easily.

◼️ When making the caramel sugar syrup, remove it from the stove as soon as it turns light golden color, otherwise the caramel will taste bitter.
◼️ When breaking the eggs, do not put them in the same bowl. Break the egg into another bowl and then add it to the other eggs. If one egg is accidentally rotten, it can prevent all the eggs from being added.
◼️ If you use aluminum pudding molds, the caramel will be extremely hot after pouring. So be sure to protect your hands while making the syrup, pouring or swirling the syrup in the mold.
◼️ Before pouring the mixture into the mold, rub some butter around the mold. Then it can be removed very easily and neatly.
◼️ Cover the steamer with a kitchen towel before closing the lid.It prevents the water vapor that collects on the lid from falling on the flan.
◼️ Chill it in the refrigerator for 3-4 hours before serving and it will taste even better. Your guests and family will love it
