From Heartwarming Meetings to Evening Hurdles: A Day in Reflection

Greetings, dear friends, how are you all? I hope you all are fine and enjoying your day. I wish for you all good health, wealth and a prosperous time ahead. Today I am here to share with you yet another day of my life and I hope you all will get time to read and know about one more day of my life and also find it worthwhile to read and vote.

I woke up early this morning. These days, it’s very cold, and the arrival of the winter season is evident. In the morning, water freezes, and getting up early has become very challenging. Life is becoming harder with each passing day, and in the coming times, it will be even more difficult. People are preparing for the winter season, and nowadays, as soon as you wake up, the first thing you have to do is arrange for warmth. Only then can you head to the mosque for prayers.

I lit the stove for warmth and then set out for the mosque. After finishing the prayer, I made supplications—for my family, relatives, and friends. When I returned home, I didn’t go for my walk today.

I exercise right outside my home, which helps me stay active and fit. It also allows me to burn some calories successfully. Mornings are extremely cold, and it’s quite challenging to walk around the village due to the dense fog. Along with the cold, there’s also the risk of encountering wild animals. These days, doctors mostly advise staying indoors because exposure to the elements increases the chances of falling ill.

After coming back inside, I took a bath with warm water and then had breakfast. These days, the sun comes out a bit late, so by the time I finished my breakfast, I was already ready for the office. The sun hadn’t fully come out yet.

When I reached the office, I saw the employees warming themselves in the sunlight outside. Our office has been unusually busy these days because this is the prime season for getting work done. We’ve started all the tasks we planned for this year because the expected snowfall later will make it impossible to continue working. Therefore, we aim to complete everything before then.

Today, we were called for a review meeting where we were to be asked about our ongoing tasks. I reached on time, and my friends had already arrived there before me. After the meeting ended, I went to different sections and completed my pending work.

Later today, I planned to visit my cousin, so I had already kept a few things in my car beforehand. In the evening, I left a bit early and headed to meet him. My cousin is very dear to me, and we often miss him a lot. Since he has started going to school these days, he rarely gets the time to visit us at his maternal grandparents’ home. That’s why I decided to come and meet him here instead.

When I met him, he was overjoyed. As I gave him the items I had brought along, his happiness knew no bounds. Later, when I sat down to have tea at their house, he sat right next to me. It brought back old memories for him of the time he had visited us some time ago.

When I left their house and headed back home, I got stuck in heavy traffic. Since it was evening, many people were returning to their homes, and the traffic jam turned into a significant hassle. Being stuck in traffic during the evening is particularly stressful. I developed a headache and reached home quite late.

After arriving, I freshened up and had dinner. However, due to the headache, I went straight to bed afterward.
