What steps would you take to save the soil?

Use natural fertilizers to protect the soil

Composting is the process of composting organic wastes such as plant and animal waste, vegetables and food waste. These add nutrients to the soil and give the plants a good, fertile soil.

Easily identifiable waste and non-biodegradable waste should be separated and disposed of

There are two types of materials that we use, biodegradable materials and non-biodegradable materials, in which biodegradable materials become soil fertilizer and non-biodegradable materials are harmful to the soil, so both should be separated and disposed of separately.

Agricultural land should be increased

In many places agricultural land is being converted into building land which is a saving for future money capitalists money holders are converting land into barren land otherwise agricultural land should be increased thereby increasing soil fertility.

Water bodies should be kept clean

Water bodies such as Aru Lakes are polluted by human intrusion, which is not conducive to plants and soil, the addition of too many chemicals, soaps, shampoos, dyes, and wastes to these water bodies. When such contaminated water is used for irrigation, the soil is also polluted

Mixing of chemical wastes in water bodies should be prevented

Industries are now proliferating and dyeing effluents are being mixed directly into water bodies without being recycled or treated, causing water and soil pollution to be prevented.

Use of pesticides should be avoided

Pesticides are used in modern farming systems to increase yields. Due to this, the quality of the soil decreases and the fertility of the soil is also affected. Therefore, the use of pesticides should be avoided and natural pesticides should be used instead.

Planting more trees

Nature recycles nature and takes what they need. Similarly, trees get the nutrients they need through their bark. In addition, they act as fertilizers for other plants, and trees protect our atmosphere and recycle polluted air to us. It also recycles the polluted water and gives it to us as rain. So more and more we need to build trees and by doing so this soil will be protected.

Conclusion

Our planet Earth is the only planet with life. The soil on the globe is a gift from nature and has the capacity to support all life. We obtain the food, oxygen, and water we require for survival from this soil. This earth serves as the filter for our contaminated water. We have a responsibility to safeguard this soil because it is the foundation upon which many plants grow and provide us with clean air to breathe.
